We greatly thank the catholic bishop that has the wisdom and courage to publicly decline the 25million naira gift which was given publicly by the governor. Am sure the message got home. My lord bishop you are indeed a shining star, Remain eternally blessed as you continue on your examplary leadership and lifestyle.
But, labourers are better than cleaners. Let us look at it from a real fact of it. A labourer would always plan and build, whilst cleaner tidy up the mess in the building. However, without a building there cannot be a place for cleaners. Even, an open place such as our roads were built by labourers plus good engineers. Therefore, when we talk about order of importance, labourers are far better than the cleaners. Based on the context of Jagajaga man of APC. APC has done nothing in Lagos state n beyond than using their brooms to sweep states n national treasury for personal interest and usefulness.
The act of the Catholic Bishop is worthy of emulation by all Africans and an example for other Bishops, pastors, and other spiritual leaders to show good morals when it comes to money issues.
The way the church members clapped when the money was pronounced and the way they still clapped when the money was rejected is so disgusting, some people can't reason for themselves until their daddy in the Lord do it for them, I really love this Bishop for what he did, thank you sir.
Until we start speaking the truth to them in their presence. Thank you, Bishop, what will I use N25m for when your workers are being owed salaries? They are a wasteful bunch of governors in this nation. Update on the Kenya elections?
Thank you for the courage and the boldness to say the truth to Ayade. I served in his state that guy is literally doing nothing in that state yet they keep voting for him
Whaoo! What a bold step from a reputable servant of God. Not waiting for the church council nor anyone before taking the very important step required..not minding the consequences. Why is baba getting worried with the supporters of a man "they all referred to as party with no structure man". When you do the right thing, you need not to be afraid.
Adeola, thank you for including Sierra Leone in this video. The truth is Sierra Leone's president has been a big disappointment. The president didn't address the nation, because he was on "private visit" in London when the protest started. Now, he's blaming the political opposition for the violence. As usual, no accountability at all.
Thank you for covering the Sierra Leone incident, I’m a Sierra Leonean, and every day I worry about the safety of my family. The situation is terrible, people are not only living in hardship and frustration but also in fear because no one is safe. Unfortunately, our country does not get enough coverage when things like this happen and so it continues to happen on the low. Just sad😢
What happened was an act insurrection, terrorism. The current administration was democratically elected 4 years ago The previous government declared the country was in austerity before they lost the elect in 2018. This current government inherited a broken economy. The economic hardship the country is experiencing is an accumulation of inheriting a broken economy and the economic downturn due to Covid and the War in the Baltic. The hardship is not unique to Sierra Leone. T
@@byfavour852 this is not about what the previous government did or did not do. No citizen deserves to live in their country in fear of being killed if they stood up for what they believe in. When did it become an act of terrorism to protest in a so-called “democratic” country? Yes, the hardship is not unique to SL but can you honestly and seriously compare the past government to the now Government regarding how fast our economy has gone down the drain? It's been almost five years since they were elected, that's enough time for people to see some improvement. How many more people have to die for the Government to see they are violating the rights of people and that people have the right to speak if they are unhappy
@@Momentwithjalika Is sad how Sera Leon government is maltreating its citizens. The citizens should not keep quiet until they see changes. All Africa leaders are evil, it is so unfortunate. God help the Searle anions.
That pastor who rejected the money is the most righteous Nigerian pastor I have come across. Unlike other pastors who campaign against a former governor because he refused to donate money to him.
I am so happy the Bishop rejected the gift and gave his advice. This is also the trait of the present Rivers State governor, Wike. Donating to several states and building bridges within the Metrpolis of PH, but owing salaries, pension and gratuity but boldly declares he is not owing. May we have more honest people not just the men in cassock.
😂😂 oh my goodness, no you didn’t Adeola with that ‘eba’ dance!! 😂😂 Thank you so much for your well-researched, detailed and objective reports- keep keeping it real, totally a huge fan! 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
Kudos to the bishop for standing up for the people and rejecting the bribe from the governor, if a lot of pastors in Nigeria did this and didn't continue to further enable these politicians maybe something would have clicked in their brains. What a lot of these politicians do when they feel an iota of guilt for all their evil deeds is to go to church/mosque and donate a large sum of money in order to alleviate their guilt. If all Nigerian pastors rejected this money and told them the truth that God cannot be bribed maybe we would have gotten somewhere in that country. Ps: Tinubu not being able to take political attacks and jokes is a huge red flag and it hints at the kind of president he will be.
Adeola I am very proud of you. You are a true Nigerian. I am always excited when watching your un alloyed reports all around Africa. I pray that the Lord will continue to preserve you. Pls keep doing the good job. Thanks.
Huummmm. 25 m rejected not minding the feeling of this governor, I'm touched. This bishop action shows that his conscience is very much alive. God bless you the more sir.
When he announced his donation, the church members clapped, when the bishop rejected it, the church members clapped, this is to show you some people will never ever have any sense of direction in this life, always going where the wind blows. These are the kind of people the politicians pay to vote for them, they are easily maniputed, thank God for the intervention of this bishop, else this governor's next move would've been to seek for vote in that church and you would've seen these same people going to vote for him because "he donated 25 million naira in my church" that would've been their reasons.
I don’t buy the criticism so much. The first announcement was still good to hear for them. The second announcement was even better. So the clapping was louder.
Since BEN AYEDE decamp to the accultic rulling group of Apc, he has automatically turned to something else. God bless u the real Bishop & thanks so much @Adeola for ur efforts. More Grace dear
I love what the Bishop did, if it's most of our pastors they'll gladly collect it and clean mouth. How can a governor not pay salaries and has the mind to go to the church to make such donations. We Nigerians behave stupid whenever we see rich politicians who have stolen our money.
Oh Adeola you are really crazy and I love it, I can't get enough of your show it is informative, creative, entertaining and mostly true. Keep keeping it real crazy Lady 🤪
It hurts me whenever I see vibrant youths clapping and campaigning for this old men.... how could we forget so soon? If not for anything, what about Lekki tool gate killing?
I am not being tribalistic, but watchboit those supporting Tinubu are Yorubas nincompoops. Then you'll realise that in as much as you are from certain tribe, people will support you even if you are a tyrant
Honestly, I think those who are supporting him would be those who burnt and looted after the Lekki Massacre. If anything, the Lekki Massacre actually showed us two divides: those who wanted to build (peaceful protesters, policy formulators and negotiators etc) and those who wanted to burn(corrupt politicians and youths etc)
Adeola l don't know what is wrong upstairs with our African Leaders. Ll the treasure and resources God gave each Nation are being sold and money used for themselves and their families. They allow Foreign People from abroad to exploit us Our Leaders too steal the money and hide in foreign Banks They forget that the Almighty God will deal with them They forget when they die they are not taking a,dime with themGod will judge all of them
😳🙄Tinubu is just getting a taste of his medicine. Aside insulting Peter and his party, this is exactly what APC did to PDP in 2014/15 in the social media.
Church members clapping wasn't the issue for me, it was when somebody from the "pastoral team" said "is that how you clap for 25million?", meaning that they should clap louder. Sycophancy!!! For emi lokan, Sir, its not labour party members or supporters that are "attacking" you, but NIGERIANS that are tired of years of deceit, corruption and impunity that you sir are fully part of. That's all sir. YOU SQUANDERED YOUR TURN!!!
Peter Obi message is entering the hearts of men now. I pray more church people and other groups will start doing same so raise expected stabsard and save Nigeria
25M rejected ... I love this one... We need Truth in Nigeria undiluted truth + action and such men (Bishop or not) are the foundation... Adeola is a joy giver 💕 much love mama... Keep keeping it real.
Weldon Bishop. Other men of God should emulate you. Our Politicians dont know there are some people that cannot be compromised. A new Nigeria is here. Enough of all these nonsense, insensitivity and misplaced priorities. With Obi-Datti we stand for a new Nigeria
Owing pensioners then neglecting them, ignoring their pleas to be given what is rightfully their money, watching them fall sick and die equates to premeditated murder. On the other hand, these same Governors will serve a term or mainly 8 years in Office and receive pensions, allowances and other benefits 300% above their salaries for the rest of their lives. And this is ontop of the billions they must have looted, laundered, misappropriated and embezzled during their tenure in Office. Nigeria is such a blatant masterpiece of a fraudulent system on all levels of governance!
Pls Adeola help us to plead with Nigeria Government to help us return our Children, husbands , brothers at least for those who want to return to Nigeria in UAE since they have decided to make the place a hell for the innocents, honest hustlers. They don't even pay these people after working. Thank you for all you do for mankind. God bless you greatly 🙏
If the corrupt Governor had made that donation to a Privately owned Pastoral Church, the Pastor would have ordered the entire congregation to prostrate. Catholic Church is bigger to bribe 😏
We praise the clergyman for what he did, but the point isn't about a denomination. You're suggesting that a higher figure would have elicited a more friendly reaction from the reverend, right? You see the issue with your point?
Both PDP and APC keep insulting Sir Peter obi, calling him names, declaring him dead with an obituary picture and yet they are the ones still cryin, hurt and complaining. Are they not seeing the handwritten on the wall.
Thank you for enlightening the issues that going on in our country 🇸🇱. Our leaders are trying to strip out our right by brutalizing our brother and sisters. There is no hope for us.
there is still hope for u guys. we in Nigeria know what these protests feel like so never give up instead avenge ur brothers and sisters that have been killed. may their soul rest in peace. love from Naija
Thank you adeola for this wonderful show I am so happy for this man of God who proved to be an ambassador for Christ for rejecting peanut offered by the thief executive of the state this Bishop and his church will never lack money and above all they will inherit the kingdom of God in Jesus name Shame to all the governors who are still owing workers and pension salaries in this most difficult period of time in Nigeria.
I doff my cap for the man of God for rejecting that gift. The same professor that was shedding crocodile tears some times back is playing father Christmas when he is owing the workers many months salaries. Very unfortunate.
Whenever I see any of ur update pops up I must put everything on hold till am done watching...dis ur dancing 💃 na supa...u must dance for Burna boi or wiz
So the governor and the entire judiciary could only muster 25 million naira? It's shameful how this was the same person who was shedding crocodile tears about not taxing poor business people in his state yet he's owing salaries, as little as the salaries are. Too bad.
