Super cute. Tiny houses are an old idea for me, I'm 47 years old, when I was around 7 years old my dad built a 12 X 12 tiny house in my grandparents land. He lived by himself then and had everything he needed. I loved visiting, I always thought it was the coolest thing. Several years ago, he built one for his uncle, one of my cousins lives in it now.
I fell In Love with tiny living in 2010. I think I always liked small homes and now it’s totally the way to go. I finally got my own tiny home in 2015. 98% reclaimed items are in it. If I can do it anybody can. This tiny looks so fun! The tiny digs has the right idea. I love it! Leslye
---A tiny house hotel is a cool thing to try out. It gives a person the opportunity to experience a tiny house if they are interested. I would love the Beach theme personally. It's so cute! Thanks for sharing this video. :)
I had one of those IKEA drop leaf tables, it had only one small drawer on each side and had a nesting area under the drawers for folding chairs. Back in the early 1970’s. Now they are a staple item for work snd dining everywhere. Now in so many tiny houses. Marvelous!
I love beach house. Great theme. But one thing it is missing is a sea view then it would be perfect. But beauty of a tiny house is one can trailer house to that ideal view. 😊
LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this Beach style tiny house! Also love that there is a "real" toilet, I wud never want a compost toilet. I love the bathroom sink and all the white walls, plus the wood sliding door, but I wud want a lil larger kitchen, no dining area and stairs instead of a ladder, but I did LOVE the railing in front of the bed. OH, and the stairs/pergola in front of the house, WOW!
I don't generally like small places, but something about Tiny Houses really appeals to me and I would love to either live in one or to stay in one for a week or something
Jenna, thank you so much for the tour. I have only been to Portland once, for business, but I thought it was gorgeous. If I get the opportunity to go back, I am definitely going to stay at the Tiny House hotel!
As it has been already mentioned there isn't LEAD piping anymore, and was used years ago for waste & water piping until we knew better! My knowledge tells me that was schedule 40 carbon steel w/malleable iron fittings. Thank you for the tour(s). My wife and I would like you to do some 'tiny house' tours here in New England where people are building them and living in them all year long (through our tough winters). Thank you again and am looking forward to seeing more of your of your channel.
I really like the interior decorating! Someone with good taste obviously did it. I totally would want to stay in this tiny house for several nights. Thank you for the tour.
The purple one i saw it on the website searching for gypsy caravans and that was the first tiny house a saw about a month ago 😊. What a lovely place, thank you
I lived in a Vagabond trailer in Anchorage in 1968 and 9 that had a table just like that Ikea table. So I guess the design has been around for a long time!
It’s really neat. Goes to show we don’t need all the wasteful space we have gotten so used to over the years. I think it’s great. I would actually live to have a tiny house. I could easily live in 400sq ft or even less. This country has gotten so carried away. We are so wasteful it’s gross. But again, cool concept.
Holly's comment seems to be one that comes up regularly. Jenna, I notice in some shots there are tubs with plants... but perhaps you'd like to suggest to the owners that they explore non-permanent planters... i.e. green roof solutions. Just for fun, I looked up businesses in Portland that specialize in this kind of thing, and found this one. Could be a great way for them to show off their tray systems... and for the hotel to inexpensively gain more green space! www.columbia-green.com/systems/
Great tour! I really like your style of showing (and this TH as well although I need more storage so I'd raise the floor to accommodate wheel wells and put in some sunken ares plus storage). I've subscribed and liked so now I need to check out your website!
