Trying to get the tiny cabin, electricity up and going. Kayson’s accident happened three days prior to this day. We have talked to the children multiple times in regards to writing full Willers without helmets. I think he definitely learned his lesson and we are changing things as well.

Don’t beat yourselves up,Kayson will always push the limits until he can understand something’s can hurt him. With his autism, it will take him a little longer to learn, but he will learn. I have been around children that are autistic for 20+ years and I know I’m talking about take a deep breath, and know you are great parents and No one can take that away from you.❤️❤️❤️🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

I used to be an accident magnet. Eventually, I ended up being nervous about doing anything a bit risky. Even now, I won't do anything unless I'm sure I've made it as safe as possible.

Poor Kayson, I hope he’s feeling better. Goose eggs on the head are so scary to look at and for what it could mean but he’s a tough kid and it’s one more hard lesson for him to learn. There will be a few more gray hairs for you Brandon & Steph. Too. You are such awesome parents & your kids are just the most respectful , helpful kids I’ve seen. Never doubt your parenting skills guys, the way you explain to and include the kids in everything you do is just amazing. @@EddyFamilyFarm my son is awaiting autism diagnosis, he's 14 and always pushing the boundaries especially so he gets the answer he wants. Sometimes we have to let them do it and just be ready to deal with the fall out. I kind of know now how my mum felt as I was growing up as a physically disabled child always pushing my limits. I still do as an adult tbh lol. Hope Kayson gets better soon.

Branden and Stephanie, Mike Fowler is such a wonderful man with such a loving wife and family. You could not have a finer person helping you out. You guys have a busy life on the farm. While Mike’s’ kids are practically grown and your kids are young. You both are raising amazing young people. Kayson, hopefully learned a lesson by his accident. Branden, you are an amazing Dad and Stephanie is a wonderful Mom. Accidents happen and that is why it is called an accident. I have 2 boys and my oldest was prone to have accidents. Thankfully Kayson is okay and I think you putting the keys away and set down some strong rules about the 4 wheelers is needed bc your children are young. Some kids just learn by their mistakes.

Glad to hear Kayson’s is doing much better. Not a critique just a suggestion. Every time you say he’s your “accident prone child” it’s as if thats his label and his lot in life. He may feel like “that’s who I am no matter what.” Maybe you could start out everyday by saying to him “Son, we’re going to make good and smart choices today, right ?” Then eventually say “What are we going to do today?” When he answers give him a “Right on!’” and a high five. You guys are great parents and it shows you love your kids. You’re very fortunate to have friends like Mike 🤩 to help with projects like wiring your new home. From CA🏖️take care.

I love the way you talked to Kaison about safety and wearing a helmet. Kids will be kids and at times just do what they want as they don’t understand the way they can get hurt. the work on the tiny cabin is coming along great, No more electrifying incidents should happen I am just so happy everyone is OK. I am praying for Kayson that is shocking and strange that the swelling happened two days after he had the accident. It seemed one moment he was fine in the video the next you had to take him to the hospital. You are great parents and your children are so precious and very cute. God Bless you all.

Sending up prayers for Kayson and all the family. So glad it wasn't inside his skull that was injured. I've never heard of a hematoma popping up days after the initial incident either. That’s great that Mike came to help with the wiring - such a blessing. Thankful Mike was ok after the shock. So sorry about - that is scary - normally those pump knots come up really quick after a blow to the forehead. Sending prayers. Kaptain Kayson is the adventurer - hopefully he has learned a valuable lesson. I’m sure the other kiddos have learned from it too. We as parents learn which kids are more mature & trustworthy. Having kids is always an adventure, you always tell them the rules, but they have a mind of their own, don’t get rid of the 4 wheelers, even if you lock the keys up things happen. You can’t watch them 24/7. You’re good parents. I’m a mother and grandmother of all boys, my sons are 54 and 50, my grandson of our youngest who we raised from 10 to 16 is 19 this year, my journey with them is to long to write here, but trust me you’ll look back on these days with family stories and laughter.😻😻😻😻😻😻

I hope your son's platelets are fine. 32 years ago my son ended up with ITP and he had a battle with his platelets for 2 years. He will be 37 next month. It's really rough when something medically happens to your child especially when they don't feel sick. Limiting a child's activity is torture for them and the parents. I pray for the best for you and your family.

Kids do get hurt on farms but we learn from the accidents just as you suggested to Kayson. I'm glad he is ok. My husband and I did the same thing with building like that, but we have a front porch. He was aviation electronic tech in the US Navy, so he did all the power. We did the insulation also. We didn't have a well till after he died. My momma paid for my well after she paid remaining balance on the property. My husband did a temporary shower using a new 50 gallon liquid sprayer for farms adding a handle garden sprayer to the end. We would heat the water on our wood stove when we could. He also built me a kitchen shelf with 2 tub sink. We would get water from neighbor's well and tote it in. I got all the inside plumbing done with Plex tubing to a new water heater after my mom got the well in for me. It was just him and I, so tiny cabin was perfect for us. You guys did a great job ❤
