What wonderful, unique ideas. Those beautiful cabins are amazing. I especially love the Cardinal cabin. I noticed the tile in that bathroom had Cadinals in the shower area. This is how mobile homes were built for decades only the metal siding was installed vertically instead. I live in a nice senior mobile home park with 50 year old homes and the metal siding still in great shape. Some parks are forcing owners to replace the metal siding with horizontal vinyl siding to "modernize" it but that is inferior. I want an arched cabin. I would put in some stained glass to feel like I was in a church. The gothic shape is one of the oldest on earth. Kudos to these owners.

So perfectly strong and the structure is perfect not to mention the fact that it is simple and easy to afford. No one needs more than this to live in. I love being out in nature. And I would love to have a home like this! I live A-frames to begin with ....must be the indigenous ways still in my akashic memory...as I can remember living in T-pees in a past life. If anyone wants to help me out with obtaining this house and some property it would be such a blessing to me and I will be the most grateful woman ever in the world! Ilive in my car right now, but I really want to grow a garden and be able to live off the land . Mother Earth has everything we need to survive. And we all need to find a way to keep life more simple and natural. Thanks for sharing this with me. I really appreciate your videos. Namaste 🙏❤️

I would love more info on pricing and info for Canadian builds.i thought I wanted a tiny house but they can be difficult to build in Canada..these woukd be accepted moreso as they r a cabin..would love more info on plans and costs to build on a remote piece of land.

In an area with proper winter and summers you will freeze or boil , unless you use a HUGE amount of energy to keep it in an acceptable range of temperatures inside. Not even 10 cm of foam can stop the thermal barrier formed by the metal , to spoil the comfort

Nice! Only thing I question is putting the steel roofing on horizontally. Wouldn’t it be better for rain and snow to have the siding.roofing on horizontally so the weather drains/ runs off?

Hi would these work in Hawaii, specifically Big Island Hilo side? We get tons of rain and everything rusts. That was my concern about container homes. Just realized something after look at roof. Wouldn’t work for those of us that use catchments. How would you attach the gutters with the shape of the roof.

Could they put extra windows on the sides or a bigger back window for more of a view?

@Juliana Balistreri From the Arched Cabins website concerning installing more windows: "Skylights and windows can be installed in the sides of the Arched Cabin with metal roofing as long as they're less than 2 feet wide. Steel ribs run every 2 feet underneath the metal roofing panels, and to keep the Arched Cabin structurally sound we don't recommend cutting into the ribs to place a window or skylight in. If you do want to install a larger window, door, or design a bump-out on the arched walls, the structural steel will need to be heavily reinforced to ensure the structure remains sound. We recommend working with our engineering team to make sure the cabin remains structurally sound if you plan on doing this." Hope that helps! Thank you for watching and commenting!

What is the narrowest unit, my thought is buying the longest salvable pontoon somewhere in MN?Ten use it as an RV/Camper. I noticed that comments seem really dated - I'm interested in the construction, not the location/use.
