Welcome to the Ikadom house, produced by the Ikapol company. My name is Marta Kozłowska and I am the owner. I founded Ikapol 12 years ago and the main production branch is the so-called intelligent facilities with programmed maintaining of temperature and humidity at a constant level throughout the year, we often install online control and monitoring at the customer’s request. On the basis of many years of activity, we decided to use our experience to produce houses, all-year-round like this, but also summer houses.
We rely on a steel structure, there is a skeleton of every house, we have our own designe, we work in the program. The houses have a strictly defined snow and wind load to the climatic zone in which they are to be erected.
Thanks to the implemented ISO 1090 certified production, authorized employees, the house have the CE marking. We have implemented ISO 9001 to control the flow of our documents and office work. I employ specialists for fire protection, whose task is to control the materials from which the houses are made.
I myself am an environmental protection specialist, so we only choose ecological materials, not harmful to humans and of course the environment. Now a few words about building a house. I will divide it into a developer status, which means supporting structure, insulation, finishing of external and internal walls, distribution of electricity, water and sewage disposal, interior doors, windows and exterior doors. We deliver houses ready for so-called ,,connection to the plug”.
The skeleton is a steel structure. The idea of our houses is that they can be transported, they are not permanently connected with the ground, they do not require foundations, but they have to be placed on an even, hardened surface, small differences can be eliminated. Other advantages of the steel structure are the fact that the houses can be leased and sold move or connect e.g. 2houses.
Transport hooks are important, which in conjunction with the load-bearing structure, enable transport by crane or helicopter. The houses can also be transported with a forklift.
Insulation if the house is to be year-round, we use insulation with a strictly defined thermal transmittance.
3-pane, soundproof windows.
We used certified soft wood to finish the interior. Impregnation is very important, we impregnate both sides, paying special attention to the joints, then we paint with ecological paints. Of course, at the customer’s request, we can use a different type of wall finishing, e.g. in a bathroom where we have plaster boards.
However, the greatest strength of our houses is their technological advancement. We employ electricians and automation specialists. First of all, important for us is user safety. Along with the house, we provide a detailed electrical project.
In this case, we finished the house with a metal sheet on the so-called rhombus and wood, but of course we can implement any other idea of our client.
The above-mentioned condition plus internal doors is the so-called developers status.
However, at the customer’s request, we can make:
Infrared floor heating with online control, used for constant temperature control in the house, avoiding freezing of e.g. water in pipes, but also so that the temperature can be remotely set before arrival. It is same with the WIFI water heater.
Air conditioning. We have a modern split system, one outdoor unit and two indoors units. There is mechanical ventilation throughout the house.
We employ interior designers, which is why we offer our clients a house interior design with visualization.
We can also offer houses with full equipment, which means a finished bathroom, kitchen furniture to size, a bedroom with a bed and a wardrobe.
This particular house is made in a nautical style, wallpaper with knots, white wood, jute ropes that also add style. Sea waterproof wallpaper in the bathroom.
Living room. A fold-out sofa with a sleeping option, coffee tables, bookcase and the possibility of connecting a TV.
Custom-made kitchen furniture with built-in washing machine, fridge, dishwasher, oven and microwave, island with induction hob and sink with faucet. Lots of cabinets and drawers. The island ends with a table option.
Bedroom with bed with storage, wardrobe with sliding doors.
The bathroom has a beautiful waterproof wallpaper in the shower, the window can of course be covered with a blind. Bathroom eguipped with villeroy&boch and kludi products.
Storage compartments - storage space for e.g. cleaning products.
What is most beautiful in a summer house is communing with nature, so I invite you outside. Outdoor lighting - point and linear. Wooden terrace to size and dimensions in accordance with the wishes of the client.
