To be fair, S.C.Ruffy is a company, so it makes sense they own more than one truck. even if you like the head canon, that scruffy was of some significance, he’s definitely not the only piece of rollingstock they own. I find it amusing how sometimes the smaller line of merch can be more detailed than the larger line from the same company. (Bachmann, Tomy, etc.) Btw, I LOVE the idea of more Scruffys! I’m calling the second one Sir Cruffy, and the next one can be Saint Christopher Rufferson or something lol
But imagine if his twin is the polar opposite of scruffy? What if instead of causing trouble he wants to encourage the air trucks to do better. After all for every reaction, there must be an equal opposite. A yin to his yang.
You have a point there with a private company having more than one truck, like Scruffy. Of course, Scruffy seemed to be the only one owned by his company on Sodor, or at the very least the last one in commission at the time he got ripped in two. I think people are going to see this as story potential now.

Idea what if you kept the rusted orange for Scruffy only whilst the other scruffy trucks have a more traditional frame color where it isn't so rusted, maye the reason scruffy has rusty frames is because he's one of the first trucks the S.C Ruffy has even gotten and he made a name for himself

There really isn’t a link sadly homie, I just buy files from people who sell them and have friends (TrainStorm) print them usually. :/ There is Shapeways if you’re looking to buy them in a direct fashion but that’s not typically my route personally
