Do the lobster/crab trap method. You could use a nylon stocking stretched over the open end of a container with a hole in the toe they'll fit through. The tube closes once they pass through. It's a one way self collapsing tunnel. With lots of air holes.

I 🇺🇸 live in remote area in the Philippines 🇵🇭 and geckos are everywhere. I woke up the other night and a gecko was on the screen of the tv i use for the security cameras on the box that shows my dogs and it was trying to bite their heads off on the screen 😂. Not the brightest creatures but fun to watch.

You forgot the one thing needed to catch any lesbian….a miniature mushroom or a frog figure that’s why you only caught one it’s probably a closeted one that doesn’t know it’s a lesbian yet
Add a cone to it like a fish trap. That way it has a large opening on the outside to funnel them in. But the opening on the inside will be much smaller making it hard to escape
You should try that trick that they use for that one mousetrap, where you have a bucket with a flap with bait on it so that when they walk to get the bait they fall in
