I'm so amazed at how cats can meow with the emotional inflection we can. My cat when he's annoyed has the most frustrated or sarcastic meow ever and it cracks me up.
I used to have one that would huff if you did something she didn't approve of...she was hysterical. Just like a stereotypical old lady librarian from the 50 ' s shows!😂.
One of my adult cats covers his face if he's trying to sleep and someone turns on the lights lol. He's precious. Out of all my cats, he is the only one. He also sleeps like a human on his back or on his side with a huggie pillow.
Fun fact - we're pretty sure cats have learned to mimic a baby's cry to appeal to our maternal instinct. So, they DO sound like babies and it's on purpose!
Aww! My cat will be sleeping (normally on the recliner) when I walk into the living room in the morning and meow at me insistently til I give him his good morning pets 🥺❤️
This beautiful voice of this kitten brings me SO much comfort, its like when you wake up a baby and its adorable voice commands you to put it back to sleep😭

Our cat Hunter had a way of vocalising that almost formed words. I knew when he wanted food, wanted out, wanted to be left in peace, wanted my lap for snuggling and a nap and when he was/wasn't happy with anything. It's strange, the almost telepathic connection you can form with a beloved pet.
in contrary, this cat adores you, and is very happy to get affection, thats why it rolls over to show his belly and quacks a lot. kittens are used to waking up due to sleeping in heaps and getting poked a lot, it reminds them of the womb. notice how kitty went right back to sleep.
This is so cute and funny and relatable! My kid didn't really want to wake up after sleeping through an endoscopic procedure last week. When the nurse asked if he had shown signs of waking I asked: "Does it count that he pushed my hand away and grumbled 'wanna sleep on ...'?"🤗
I've watched this I don't know how many times. I even sent it to my son to remind him what it was like getting him up for school every day. Did I mention he's 40! A mother never forgets.
I adore chatty kitties. I love all cats but there's just something about chatty cats that is so sweet. They are actually trying to communicate with us and seem to enjoy us talking back at them which is so heartwarming.
