Such a wonderful video! I wrote down all 11 things! I recently resigned from my 26 year career, and I am actively looking for new employment. While I wait, I want to become a better version of myself. These micro habits will help me! Thank you!!
Thank you for this beautiful video Connie 🙏 I re-learned how to read books again from my mother right before she passed. She would take her book everywhere with her... read one page in the kitchen, one waiting for my son's game to start, a couple at a dr's appointment... it was such a gift to remember I didn't have to read a whole chapter per sitting!! 💞
Totally agree with you ! I have started micro habits over the last 2 years, and so many good changes have happened so subtly, without any stress. It’s brilliant 👍
Tiny habits or Micro habits I begin my day calmly with small prayers While taking bath also I used say gods name Water water water is a great stress buster Evenings I am focusing on rest and refreshment Meditation is a key Focusing on self care and smile
Thanks Connie for another great video of ideas to slow down, enjoy life and be self aware of what you are doing each day. I'd love information on your bracelet.
Great tips! I drink a 12-oz glass of water every morning to rehydrate and recharge myself. I also pace myself throughout the day with routine chores, and especially have an evening routine to enable me to relax and eventually go to sleep. Thanks Connie!
Making my bed and drinking water are pretty much some of the very first things I do when I wake up! Loved this. Joy really is contagious. I like this whole focusing on three tasks a day. That is really great. Oh man, I am a bookworm and can't imagine only wanting to read two pages a day, but hey, if it helps you get hooked, that's a good goal. I don't think I have ever spent a couple of minutes focusing on my breathing. I like the spot you chose to do so in this video. Is that your usual spot to do so? Great video.
I walk 10,000 steps outside everyday and do light arm weights every other day. I keep trying to get yoga in to my routine but keep failing. I have an app I like and enjoy it when I do it so I can’t explain why I only manage it one day a week 🤷🏻♀️
A lot of things are achievable if you live in a beautiful place and obtain a social status that allows you to enjoy life. For most people in the world, this is not obtainable.
Truth. A lot of these slow-living, organic, minimalist types can afford to do so because they aren't concerned with surviving and keeping their heads above water day-to-day like the rest of us. It's easy to live slowly when you have money.
You have to find a bit of balance no matter what your financial circumstances for sure. I love your content Connie. This little inspiration is what I need and I thank you for providing it to us to remind us to slow down. Life is so much easier to enjoy when you realize that you really don't need that thing after all and it proves itself when a week goes by and you think, well I could of used that money to buy a new plant or book to enjoy with some much needed down time in the garden. Less has become definitely more for me and I am in the process of downsizing every room of my home now. Less clutter definitely brings my ADHD brain more peace!
