I had the pleasure of meeting him as a teen. He was extremely nice and polite and soft spoken. He even sang me a verse of “Tiptoe Through The Tulips”. My friends had no idea who he was, but I was thrilled

Tim was a very capable performer and an encyclopedia of old time music. He was performing with The Great American Circus. I wanted to go see him but no one wanted to go with me. I have since spoken with people that saw him and they were very impressed with his performance.

Met him in 1996. He knew everything about music and films.

Have anyone noticed how Tiny could recall dates and schedules. He seemed very good with numbers. He also had a very beautiful wife, very good for him. RIP Tiny Tim. Vicki that was rude to just cut Tiny off in the middle of a conversation. Smh

Love the Tiny Tim interview. The jokes that Bill Saluga is telling were probably old in the 1930's, I'm shocked to see something that corny on a talk show in the '90's. Tiny is always a joy to listen to though, no false pretences with him. He was a fascinating character, always sincere, and with a great love for musical history. It seems that Miss Jan always followed him around just to appear in the media. I'm guessing she was hoping someone would discover her and make her famous.

I think it was inconsiderate of Vicki Lawrence to insist that he call her Miss Vicki. It was no doubt a touchy name to say for him. It probably brought back hurt feelings to remember his 1st wife's name.

That's Patty Hearst sitting next to him. She's always a great sport. Miss Jan was Tiny's second wife, His third and final was Miss Sue, I wonder what ever happened to Tulip Victoria, his daughter with Miss Vicky?

My Mom used to tell me about Tiny Tim. I grew up in the 70s and am too young to really remember him(I'm 58),but I can tell how far ahead of his time he was. He was way too smart for this crappy show.

Poor man. Such horrible OCD. Terrible case. And his wacky religious beliefs stopped him from getting help. The man could have easily gotten heart surgery to save his life and didn't cause he felt it would make him feel dirty. I think he was secretly suicidal and couldn't do it himself.

I never liked Vicki Lawrence and this video supports my feelings. She treats a very intelligent man in Tiny Tim like he's a weirdo. Her expressions and rolling her eyes like hes from outer space are rude and disrespectful. The story of meeting Liz Taylor was amazing and very interesting. Lawrence doesn't even acknowledge it beyond an "Ok Tiny...do you remember this?" She's a fool and if it wasnt for Carolyn Burnett would be nothing...her mama act wasnt very funny either

Tiny Tim said it all when he said that couples who gets married sometimes gets tired of each other and funny that...I got married in 1985 to my first wife and within TWO years we had 2 baby girls one being mine and we decided it wasn't gonna work but like she said back then thru no fault of hers she just got tired of me... while those feelings was not mutual I granted her a divorce just to find out she had been sleeping with another married man which his wife divorced him and it was a mess... high wouldn't think under 2 years good get tired of each other...

Vicki's talk show was okay, but there were awkward moments when she tried to copy The Carol Burnett Show with skits that were out of place, and as this clip shows, "surprise" guests that also didn't fit. As I recall, Vicki also had a dispute with Group W over the direction of the show and she left for several weeks while guest hosts tried to fill in.

He was not ashamed of naming the name of Jesus the “Christ”,and now he’s home with the lord. Looking forward to meeting him in the future , “In my fathers house are many mansions and if I go and prepare a place for you I will come again and receive you unto myself that where I am you may be also”~ Jesus

That was a dumb rude interview, why did that other comedian come in ( interrupt) in the middle of the interview. Vicki lacks charisma and needed to be a better host.

Que bandido se caso dos veces

Back through the early 90s tiny Tim came through my home town of Benton Arkansas just passing through. He stopped in the store of Kroger to buy some yogurt, my dad saw him in there as he worked the night shift for Kroger for over 20 years. Tiny Tim got mad and said something to the staff cuz they didn’t have the flavors he liked. They told him sorry but try another grocery store and he walked out fussing and they made fun of him for the way he acted. Someone started singing tip toe through the tulips as he left. People can say all kinds of nice stuff about these stars but the truth is they are full of themselves, snobby, expect the world to cater to them, they act strange and very eccentric, I mean I go to the grocery store every week and so do hundreds of people every day and I nor have I ever seen anyone throw a fit or fuss at the staff for not having something, normal people just don’t say anything and shop somewhere else but a celebrity comes in and that’s where you’ll see that behavior

Tiny was the first to ever marry on T.V. and it was also seen by 40 million people and was the highest ratings for the Johnny Carson show up til that is when Johnny had his grand FINALLY his last show ! Tiny died on stage when he collapsed after singing his one hit Tip Toe thru the tulips hit his head and his wife was by his side so sad - being she had told the world that night he was sick and didn't want to disappoint his fans so he went instead of going to hospital also she said that night the band playing before him treated him ecstreemly awful and not only did they say they didn't know his song so they didn't have to play it they also walked off the stage without introducing him so disrespectful this lead to people leaving and Tiny had a tiny audience no pun intended he left his second wife along with a beautiful daughter named Tulip that he had with his first wife !! 1996 I believe he had been in his late 60's upon his passing of heart failure may he rest in peace ...Amen ❤

Tiny Tim was biggest early in my life but seeing him on t.v. was like finding a genuine genius in high school or out at the thrift stores and you start watching their habits gleefully and excitedly from afar,every time you accidentally see them then the day comes that you see them out at a show and you realize they always knew you wanted to know everything about them and they're so relieved to learn how excessively cooool you turned out to be and you exchange phone numbers but you're aware of the sacred gift that they were the friend you needed most from the start.and you become better because.

Never forget seeing him walk down a street in downtown Des Moines Iowa not knowing it was actually him and saying that looks like Tiny Tim??’s It was actually him and I saw him about 1993 or 94. He lived in the Hotel Fort Des Moines prior to him moving to Minneapolis. He also did a short lived local talk show on Sunday nights on WHO radio until he moved to Minnesota. It was very strange in that of all the places he could’ve lived that he chose Des Moines Iowa for a time.

Love seeing Tiny Tim, however the audio on this video was atrocious, 😠😠😠😠😠😠😠.

To me, the name Tiny Tim is synonymous with the word icon. Yes, one could call him eccentric, but that was something that made him uniquely talented. Tiny taught himself to play several musical instruments--the ukulele, the violin, the guitar, and the mandolin--and sing. Though I wasn't around when he was in his prime, from what people told me and watching his videos, somehow I think Tiny was dismissed as a novelty act when he deserved more credit. God bless Tiny Tim!
