I love these little “towable truck campers” - I love the idea of a truck camper, but would never want to daily-drive the truck it would require. This concept scratches that itch in a big way.

I think they did a great job with such a smaller trailer. We love our Rpod 192.

What if the bed was a real Murphy bed that dropped down over the dinette? About the bathroom, they should put the toilet in the middle and the sink at the end opposite the shower. They should add 6 inches or more to ceiling in the bathroom for more headroom in the shower….1

Impressed by the tank sizes 30/30/30 for such a small trailer! Like the dry bath as it is. Like the creativity floor plan for a trailer. But for me I like my truck camper better my table stays as a table, n no pleated shades n an awning over my door n a 3 way fridge. 🍻

For a single person, I would just leave it as a permanent bed and still have the sitting area. Storage, storage, and storage are the dislikes, not much inside. Rear door works in small trailers since you don't have to leave open wall area for it on the side and you can put an ebike or small kayak inside of it. Original RPOD was the 151, even smaller than the 171, kind of a throwback to it.

They should've used a batwing style awning. It could cover the camp side and rear door.

This would have been ideal for the fishing trips me and my dad used to go to when I was a teenager, light and small enough to get close to the water, yet much more comfortable than a tent

Hi Matt and Wil! This is a nice R- Pod as small as it is. I like the Murphy dinette. I like how small it it is and the shower. Don’t like the small bathroom but it is nice having a bathroom this and not a wet bath. Love the solid steps. Thank you Matt and Wil!

The bed needs to be a normal dinette and you just deal with it not being a full mattress. Or an actual jacknife sofa and ditch the table. The sink absolutely should be deleted from all trailers and RVs under 20ft and you simply use the kitchen sink instead. The bathroom door opens backwards and/or should be a sliding door.

I've got a similar camper..Riverside Explorer 135. It's a great one person camper.

It’s basically a couples or single person trailer. I wouldn’t use the dinette but leave it for a better mattress and leave the bed down all the time but that’s just me. I am curious how wide the sofa is from the wall outwards I am wondering how comfortable it is to actually sit at watching tv or a nice place to sit?I would lose the bathroom sink and counter like Matt pointed out your close to the sink. anyway. I would have as an option a small awning that would cover the rear door when raining but it would only need to be 2 - 3 feet outwards over the door. It doesn’t bother me no door under the main awning. Ok another thing get rid of the dinette and put twin beds up front. There could be a small table between the twin beds even. Th sofa - thing - seems a bit long I would shorten it and put a small table or something at the end or both ends. I sure would like to see this trailer in person I have 2 General RV centers and I am about half way between both I am going to check this trailer out. But it’s $29,ooo price has to be a misprint LOL. I found a Forest River mini light 20 foot long single axle used a 2021 model for $24,700 but it’s heavier and larger. Ok I am rattling on sorry it’s my brain tumor talking. Thank You I am day dreaming of being able to camp again but it’s not going to happen agent orange does the number on all vets. Cheers

They should move the awning to the rear as standard and side awning as optional.

Hey Matt! I love your videos. I'd like to share, that when I look at RVs, whether a truck camper, or travel trailer, fifth wheel, or probably my favorite... toy haulers, I'm always trying to figure out the best option for 2 or 3 private sleeping areas. Would love to see some family oriented focus, with an idea of longer stay. I need to keep some separation with my wife and I and each of our kids for privacy! HAHA, obviously this is the WRONG video to comment this on, but I like watching your videos even if they don't fit exactly what I would be looking for! So, yea! Just thought I'd share, and I understand that configuration is also pretty hard to come by.

The table top is on wrong....the triangular pointy end of the table, faces the back door so people can get in on BOTH sides.

They could have made a cover for the bed when folded up. When I saw this online, I was surprised at how sloppy the bed looks.

I don't like the Murphy dinette. Prefer a dedicated bed + dedicated place to sit. Our sunset park sunlight 16bh has both. This rpod does have a larger bathroom, . Our 16bh does have a larger sink & a second awning over the rear entry. Our 2023 was under $20k.

Is it a 4 season trailer?

There is no reason for the sink. Also, it would be great if it was a cassette toilet so you don't need a black tank. I think I would cut that bed in half, so it's a single. Also...that was a convection oven, not a microwave, right?

Dinettes in tiny campers are a HUGE waste of space. Put in two twin beds and a free standing table.

Why do all manufacturers put in 📺 TV? Get rid of most TVs in and out.

To much work for eating table and bed; I keep my flag staff e pro 19fd and it weighs 400 lbs less

Interesting idea but poor execution. Only one propane tank so should not have a 2 way fridge. Should be an instant hot water heater You'd use all your water waiting for hot water. Also has junky shades as someone else said.

Dislikes, only 1 propane tank needs 2 since the fridge is on propane. 2 no solar . 3 the price are you serious $29,000 on sale they’re crazy.
