Wow man, I am about over playground whoop vids but... yours was awesome, fast little gaps. Great flight! Thanks for taking me through the build. Welders glue to the Camera lens...brilliant! Kinda disappointed at the motor wire polarity. Kinda not cool of this flight controller. Great build vid!
If Spektrum reverse the polarity of their connectors then surely that just means the clockwise motors spin anti-clockwise and visa versa so why don't you install them like that?
changing the polarization of the motors did not work on mine just made the quad spin in circles, I just reversed the prop directions by swapping around the props and it works great.also was not able to run the green mode with the 19500 kv gold motors from newbeedrone ,however the blue mode and red mode works great
How will I know if my motors I bought will need to have the wires reversed like that? Is it like a blade thing where they do there wiring backwards so all aftermarket mot0rs need to be reversed wiring on this FC? Now I’m nervous I have parts ont there way had enough trouble making sure motors will fit the frame now this jeez
I just did this "mod"... my parts list... • Inductrix fpv pro frame • Racetek 17,500kv motors (polarity switched and correct cw/ccw installation) • FPV Plus canopy (trimmed sides to fit tiny frame) • Gemfan 4 blade props Conclusion: flys slower than the same frame/motor/prop setup as my inductrix fpv. Wont meow unless placed upside down with front ducts closest to the floor, and even then only meows SOMETIMES. I cant find the flat top canopy mentioned in this video.?.?.? Maybe the flat canopy is the key to this setup working properly but I cant say for sure. Also... you would think a FC designed to push 8×20 motors would absolutely thrash with high kv 6×15 motors.?.?.? Unfortunately that's not what I'm experiencing with my build 🤔
I've been told to completely remove the JST connectors and solder the motor wires directly to the board. Any connector will limit current, so remove any obstacles where possible. Any truth to that?
Another quick one for you: what about camera and battery connector polarity? Can I just use the stock ones - plug TX02 and after market LiHV batt to it? I don't understand why you remove this pigtail from the FC and then solder it back again.
I only bought the main control board, but it does not come with the LED included. Does any one have some intel on the pinout and the type of connector used on that board ?
Could you please comment on the motors connector polarity. I see that Inductrix FPV + has different direction of props rotation, comparing to typical Tiny Whoop. Brushed motors can spin in both directions but they will last shorter or have power deficiency if you use it the other way, I suppose. Isn't it better to leave connectors as they are and simply swap the motors left-right?
Yes the Plus board spins the motors inward vs the OG inductrix but the individual motor + & - are also reversed. So like the vid shows wires on the plugs will also need to be swapped
Epic Drone that's what they call 'meow mode' feature, only available on the inductrix plus FC right now. Its inspired by the newer Betaflight firmware feature called turtle mode but that one only works with brushless motors.
Let me first preface this that I am not trying to be negative just sharing my honest feedback. I am going to say what I believe everyone is thinking. Why would you do this to your Inductrix plus? Way to much trouble for marginal improvement IMO. I do love getting crafty and it’s a cool idea but I wouldn’t gut a brand new product. Now if I already thrashed the crap out of it? Then maybe yes
PuppetMasterFPV Honestly for me, the smaller the whoop the better. This was just kind of like a challenge for me because no one thought this was possible on a 6mm whoop. Thats why they made these with bigger motors and props or else they would of kept it 6mm.
+PuppetMasterFPV 6mm agility, and to be able to compete in the MultiGP tiny whoop class which requires 6mm motors. From my travels around the world most whoop races are classified by motor size. 6mm is still the biggest class, and the most fun
Man😒 I really wanted to watch this build but the effin " music" omg do do do do dodododo do doooooooooo do do do dooooodo doo doo doo do dooooo ...I cant...
I’m sure Jesse is a great guy but I don’t understand why everyone thinks he invented the tiny whoop? We were slapping that cheap spektrum fpv unit on the inductrix the day it came out which was way before the whoop craze. Anyway nice video. I’ve moved on to brushless whoops but still enjoy the original for inside.
