Tio Choko Tries To Impress Ballerina With His "Choko" Moves And Ends Up Succeeding Instagram @Callmechoko Song by Tchaikovsky - Dance of the little swans The Ballerina (Meghan Magoun)
It's not about looks. You need to be light as a ballerina to be lifted more easily with your Co dancers. I speak from experience from being a ballet dancer for years.
@@T1Oracle none of you understand anything. It has nothing to do with lifting a little lady. But she has to be lighter so the dancers can move more effortlessly, since the dance is not only based on lifting once or twice. It has to be an elaborate coordinated move set with various maneuvers and acrobatic skills. And by training like this every day, makes you naturally more skinny and light. But it also has to do with aerodynamics. Men can not rally the same strength each and every single time when the female dancer is 200 pounds or more. It's realistic. It has. Nothing to do with beauty standards.
Dang, you are so right I laughed so hard and when he picked her up I thought he was going to drop her! 😂 lol Girlfriend all kinds of thick! In a good way!😊
@@niecedspain3568 You can be a professional ballet dancer if you have ballet body, and it goes way beyond being thin. "Ballet physique" and it goes way beyond just being slender. It's also not being too tall, too short, not having large hips or breasts, etc. This isn't even a complete list. Most of us, even those who are thin, don't have a ballet body, myself included. There are also practical issues such as that male ballet dancers aren't weight lifters. They are supposed to be able to jump lightly themselves, they are supposed to lift girls, catch them in flight and then dance themselves. They are also supposed to make it look effortless. Additionally, female ballet dancers keep all of their weight on the tips of their toes. If they are heavier, it's more difficult and they are more likely to injure themselves. Besides, ballet is a visual art, so visuals are important. Also, "lines" - an outline of the dancer's body in positions and moves are very important in ballet. Finally, contrary to what you might think, there are more than enough thin dancers, more than jobs, so there is zero reason for a theater to hire someone whose body they don't like. Really, watch a few professional ballet performances and see for yourself.
I love seeing the two different styles of dance shown side by side. I remember taking ballet classes and I didn't fully appreciate how challenging the style of hip hop could be. In ballet movement is precise and Smooth in a gentle way. Hip hop required isolated movement precision with power you can let go with expression. It's beautiful the way different styles of dance can alter your perspective and provide you with this ability for deep introspection mentally, emotionally and physically.
@@jewelmarkess I understand that she's not a professional but my point was professional ballerinas are NOT healthy role models for young girls. They all look like they're on the verge of starvation. Who cares if she can't technically be lifted in a professional version of Swan Lake, etc. My point is, she looks like a healthy young woman.
@@Canadianbatgirl62 You called her a ballerina, hence my reply, and kind of implied she could be a professional. Also, not all professional ballerinas look like they are starving to death. Look at Maria Bulanova or Alexandra Khiteeva. One can be thin, but not skeletal. Professional ballerinas shouldn't be models for young girls who are not planning to become professional ballet dancers, at least not from their figure. There is genetics too. Most people cannot become professional ballet dancers. I sure couldn't. My late mother could (if her father had allowed her to), and her frame was so slender, at 15 I already couldn't fit into clothes she wore at 28, and she loved to eat. I was not even remotely overweight, just had a medium frame. Dancers' bodies - including slender frame - is part of their talent.
This guy either needs a contract for a comedy TV show or committed to an asylum! I love his comedy he is absolutely crazy,!!! That whole skit is so cool. And she was absolutely wonderful!
@@byDsign I truly hope he does get his own television show. He Is the funniest thing out there right now in my opinion. I wish that brother all the best
Wow that Ballerina tearing at all the misconceptions of what type of body is acceptable to do ballet! She is amazing, Bravo!!! I would love to see more ballerinas like her.
Black women have always had a hard time in ballet because of our build and musculature. This ballerina is absolutely STUNNING and I am so excited to see a woman shaped like this in ballet!!! Bravo Choko!!
С таким весом и ногами- тумбами разве она протанцует полностью спектакль?! И партнёры просто не потянут ( в прямом смысле) такую даму на протяжении двух часов. А так пародия развеселила.
that's so true (edit: In any case of an investigation by any federal entity or similar, I do not have any involvement with this comment section or the people in it. I have no knowledge of what he said and nor am I translating it since I am simply not interested. If it is anything bad, I am not about to mess around and find out.)
Ugh, body comments aside, her technique is wonderful. You can tell shes done this for YEARS. Beautiful. Edit: I dont know what the comments are like now, but when I replied, she was getting a lot of hate for not being a size 0 ballerina. THATS what prompted my comment.
...they did something similar on the original "Saturday Night Live"... ...they were poppin' and locking along side the ballerinas... ... I think it was one of "The Schiller Reels"...
This is brilliant, two different talented dancers coming together. The ballerina is awesome . Well done again Choko , bringing the world together through music, dance and humour ,Wish I had their fitness and talent. ☺️💖👏🎶🙋🏻♀️🏴🇬🇧
CO22 uwu I was about to comment the same thing...that they used a strong ballerina that was not rail thin like what we have become accustomed to seeing.
I’m still laughing!!!!!!! I think I pulled a muscle when he started clapping!!! I fell off my chair when he picked her up & exited stage left!!!! OMGosh! You should put a darn warning label on these vids!!! Love from the Heart up here in Waco! Hail to the Thrust Tio!!!
Wow.. Still trying to process what I just saw. It is almost like comparing the taste of sugar and salt together and trying to decide if you like the combination 🤔
First of all she is incredibly built and blew away what anyone could ever say about weight being an issue. It's about body structure, self love and the will to crush obstacles for yourself. Also...did anyone thing that this guy reminded them of Kountry Wayne?
I took a couple years of ballet as an adult, brand spanking new. Let me tell you, it was crazy hard. I slimmed down 25lbs on the 3rd month, but still kept all my curves. I was shocked at the back muscles I got, and was laughed at the first few lessons for going on account of my size, but noticed once my passe balance was silent and my turns were stable, the laughing stopped. I would hear the dancers fuss about their weight and describe a body part as disgusting. It made me sad to hear them talk about themselves that way. I was really enjoying myself, and it felt great. I see a lot of comments on the ballet dancer's body. I think she is beautiful and can do what I can't, which is pointe work. Good for her
I do Latin and hip hop dancing, and I gotta say I have a LOT of respect for ballerinas. The level of flexibility, endurance, and balance to do those moves is extraordinary.
Wow! When I was a ballerina, I would have LOVED to see someone who looked like me in the industry! It was a bit tough being the only ballerina who wasn’t pencil thin. I always had to dance so much harder and better than everyone else to prove myself. She is beautiful!
This definitely gives me that classic cartoon vibes. This is straight up an episode of Looney Tunes or Tom and Jerry or something. Similar energy. The Classical Music, the facial expressions....the slapstick humor. It works.
