Honestly iv always wanted to be a performer and iv danced my whole life but my education is also important and even if its one of my biggest dreams its difficult being a foreigner anywhere nowadays.

Honestly, I have auditioned for four company’s in the past and was accepted into one. But I quit. I didn’t quit my dream I quit Kpop idol life. I finally understood why my mother was against this. While my father was against singing career in general, my mother was just worried because she knew all about trainee system, harsh practise and struggles / pressures of being an idol. Pursing my dream of singing outside of Kpop is going much better for me and I’m glad I didn’t go against my mother because this career I have now she supports. Anyone wanting to be Kpop idol I wish you best of luck, if you don’t have supporting parents for a different reason then keep following your dreams and live your own life, make your own choices ❤

The thing is I'm great at singing,dancing and my rapping is above average my visuals are 70%,but I never asked my parents about being being an idol as,I know they wouldn't agree bcuz of the society.I personally don't feel like auditioning for a company bcuz I am scared that I wont be able to do it even if I get selected...

After listening this i think i have 80% chances to become a kpop idol. Because its just scams they are afraid of they know that how much i love singing and dancing. But i need to improve a little bit. I promise them that i will succeed my dream of becoming a successful kpop idol.❤

Ya, its true that their is only 50 -50 chance to be idol but with your hopes and practice you can acheive every thing what you want, so don't be worried , just chill and focus on your dream. I know its hard but we can do it , just think its a very easy thing to learn 😅😅

The fact that I am an Arab and a Muslim and my mom is strict and I am 13 years old I am not the best at singing but I am really really good at dancing and every one told me that . And my mom do support me at dancing but lam actually doing an online jyp a audition behind her back and I know if I got accepted by any chance she will be so mad at me . I told my sister and she told and if you got accepted we will talk about it. By the way I am from eygpt

To everyone in the comment section, getting into kpop and being a kpop fan for a few years does not mean that you want to give up your own life to follow what you see, trust me I wanted that too but as time passed I realized that it's not what I want to do with my life. Do you want to give up living with your parents while you have the chance to? Do you really think that even if you become an idol you would be able to live happily with your parents? No Do you really want to waste all the money your parents have earned by working day and night for you to receive education so that you can just throw that away? If you're non-east asian you can't have a successful career, and I know you're thinking about all those indian, russian and african idols, but no, they aren't successful, their only popular, and that doesn't mean successful. Think about it do you want to waste your parents dreams for something that's not your dream but only something that "an era" of your teenage and early kpop phase Also how would you feel if someone not from the same country and race as you were to start getting into your industries? Looking at the comments I realize most of you are just people who've just gotten into kpop recently and have been fans for say a few months to 3 years or so, and the industry isn't all glam

6:27 i Agree with u but my I guess I can't audition for a kpop audition for any company before letting them know because in my house there is not that good background to dance so if I tell my parents and if they agree about k pop idol they will manage a place for me to dance ....ok....let's take it for one time ... Suppose I didnt tell my parents and gave audition and a passed when I will tell them at first the will tell me that 'why haven't you told us at first .' .... Now we will not allow you ! Once when I was just starting to audition I said mom that I am recording for a song contest and if I win I will go to Korea where I will spend some time in singing camp You can't imagine how angry she was "Why I was paying for you tech education for all these years just to let you spend time that you could spend for preparation for state exam on singing in Korea?!" I gave my online audition at jyp secretly. it's been 3 weeks i gave and i got a email that saying they already saw my video😊but haven't decided if i can be trainee. But they told me they will notify me in month if i got selected. Then i will tell my parents about it. I think they will accept it .an after that i have to go korea with one of my parent or relative. Hey my father says that your can chase your dream if you have a plan B in your dream and if you have the right to follow your dream. Right means if you are eligible for it. He says that if you have talent you can but he didn't let me to go to a k-pop company because I am a normally a bad hip hop dancer but I got accepted in a company because I had good vocals with soo sweet and clear voice. Soo, what to do ? Should I reduce my weight and improve my dance skills and then audition a company? Or go to the company secretly without my dad's permission?
