When that lady said she works 70 hours a week, that broke me. Then she said she doesn't mind. These people are the backbone of our country. I am so glad you chose to do this for these very deserving people.
I know right. So many of our fellow Americans holding this country on their back working their ass off. I’ll definitely be paying it forward over the holidays with a big tip. Can’t swing 1,000$ but maybe 50-100$ ✊🏻
As a non-American, (I haven’t even visited the country), I just can’t understand why these “servers” have to rely on the generosity of customers to make enough money to live on. They are working for a business that charges it’s customers to eat there, surely they should be paying proper wages so people are able to live. This sounds like the strangest type of employment situation to me. Shocking!
How would we get by without someone bringing us coffee & a biscuit. Backbone 🥴 they are important yes, every job is. There not the backbone of this country try again
there is Americans working 70 hours a week slaving away just to pay those bills and their is people on youtube who make that amount in 5 minutes with a video.
Or being a part of the problem. By tipping, you're enabling the behavior of letting employers underpay their staff and rely on customers to pay their wages. The correct action would be employers raising their prices to pay their employees. But no, they want to be "competitive", so to do that, they're passing on the cost to customers, and if you don't tip, you're the bad guy, rather than the employers themselves. It's great manipulation.
your reward is the money you earn from doing the hours work,..... being a server and serving people is your job, why would i pay you extra for it ? its the business interest to pay me well, not the customers. if you need tips to survive, you should quit. imagen going to a mcdonalds, getting your own food and then they ask for a fucking tip. yall lost it in america. i think its great that he is giving these tips, but the entitled faces of some people when he says 0.
@@neleth You are completely right. That poor lady working *70* hours per week. Just the fucking hours are illegal in my country, not to mention them being paid under minimum wage. It's disgusting.
@@neleth Certainly says a lot that a few hundred bucks is life changing to these people, and yet the owners of these places wouldn't even notice that much. They could pay a living and wage and choose not to.
Reminder to tip your fellow food service workers. They don't make a living wage unless they work an extreme amount of hours. So any tip would be appreciated, even a $1.
From a guy who spent 40+ years in the restaurant business, these videos just make my heart explode with joy. I know how hard they work and to stay positive after you say you aren't tipping, then watch their joy when you let them know the truth is so fun to watch. You really are out there changing lives. Keep up the amazing work.
For someone who worked in customer service, especially in the food industry you really are making each and everyone of those people so dang thankful and happy. Thanks for doing that. Customer service jobs can be well, really terrible at times.
I GET MAD WHEN FAMILY MEMBERS EVEN BEFORE THEY TASTE MY FOOD ASK FOR: SALT, HOT SAUCE,ETC. SO I GUESS I COULD NEVER BE A SERVER.I REMEMBER TAKING THE KIDS TO MCDONALDS EVERY FRIDAY YEARS AGO.A BUS OF TEENS ON A TRIP STOPPED IN.SOME OF THEM GOT UP TO LEAVE,THE TEACHER TOLD ONE YOUNG MAN, HELP ME CLEAN UP THE TABLE.THE YOUNG MAN SAID:THEY GET PAID TO CLEAN THIS UP, IT'S THEIR JOB.THE TEACHER INSISTED HE HELP & HE DID.I NEVER LEAVE THE TABLE WITHOUT THROWING OUT THE EXTRA TRASH.WE HAVE TO STOP ACTING LIKE WE'LL ALL TRUST FUND BABIES( DON'T BE OFFENDED,BABIES) & KNOW THESE FOOD SERVERS,COOKS,ETC. WORK VERY HARD FOR THEIR MONEY. IF I HAD EVER DONE IT: ONE DAY,IS HOW LONG I'D LAST,MAYBE HALF.
I just found your channel and it's so nice to see the joy that you bring to others. The world would be such a better place when people if they have the means can be so giving. With helpfulness, kindness, and compassion.
70 hours a week, holy shit! All day, every day just work to survive. Sad world, life is so much more! Glad she got what she deserves and might be able to take some time off! Thanks Dawson!
Is this real picture of America? Not like on movies ,where all dreams come true, famous american dream.... I see this kind of videos a lot ,and i see that people cry a lot and that it really means very much for them to get , 1000$ , which should not be nothin special in dreamland America, looking here like they got 10,000$.
@@xxxSpixixxx dude what? where are you from because 1,000 is a pretty big chunk of cash, def not enough to buy a car but it can pay off bills and debts
Pre pandemic these videos were always cool for me to watch but after going through a struggle since the pandemic and still to this day seeing these videos are a completely different beast. I get emotional every single time because I understand the struggle these people may be going through. I love these videos keep them coming
Man, you seem like such a nice, chill, and wholesome guy. You truly do inspire me and I’m sure a ton of your other subscribers to try and make people’s days better and show more love. God bless you, and Merry Christmas!
You Got me in real tears because their are really kind folks out there. All you gotta do is treat me right… I’m a kick ass drink server and I enjoy making others happy
@BigDawsTv_01 hi bigdaws, Iam Hugo from Mozambique,áfrica. Would like to win some cash for my christmas. I love your heart, and your videos always remind me of how we are supposed to just be nice to people!
Love it, as always. There’s nothing more amazing seeing the people who are on the receiving end of your give aways, always seem like they were the ones who should have received it 🙏
It's more amazing if you don't make a profit or living giving away money and recording it. It's better to do it out of selflessness. Not selfishness. Most people that do give aways like this. Only do so cause they know it will make them profit. Also video evidence of gifting someone a large sum of money legally requires gift tax rates to be applied.
@@Earth2McKay you sound like a hater tbh. Dude is one of the most genuine people out there & changing lives weekly- yet you’re upset because he has to pay his bills? Stop it… use your energy towards something good in life instead of bashing good people on the internet. You’re better than this
Hey I'm from Qasaqstan, it's in the middle Asia in case you don't know. I love BigDawsTv channel so much. Most of all I love when BigDaws give tips to simple workers. American people so kind, so sensitive. It's so touching.
Hello Mr. DAWSON. I am always very proud of your wonderful and kindness and amazing programmes for being so kind to the people. God bless American too. Mahamuod Joof from Somalia.

the Guy is so Grateful....its so hard for a guy to get this kind favor, so when we do get favor like this we feel like thanking everyday we meet you 😭😭😭😭
Just a wholesome dude, you def deserve more than 10M subs, appreciate the entertainment and hard work and effort you put into these vids bro. If you're ever in Colorado, hit me up I'd love to be in one of your vids lol. Until next time.
I felt their emotions, they work 70-80 hours a week just to put food and a roof over their heads and this guy just gave them 1000 dollars. Probably covers their rent for 2 month and gives them a little wiggle room. Imagine what these millionaires/billionaires in America could do!
God Bless you. I'm a single mom, whose a server putting my daughter through college. Every tip means something to servers so when you do something like this for them, it makes me cry too. Thank you for being so special ❤
Ohh... That is so very kind heart of you sir .. Hope that there could someone like you here in our country who can do that the same... God bless sir...
Love the fact that Dawson gave to servers. They really deal with a lot. Especially the lady that said she works 70hrs a week just to make it. Awesome video. Awesome job by bigdawgs.
Hey Dawson! This is David, I've recently moved to the USA, based in LA all the way from Russia to live the life of my Bucket list. Just wanted to let you know that I'm genuinely grateful for you, for what you do, for being of service for other people, I immensely appreciate that. Someday I'll see you and tell you that in person , you are on my Bucket list man)) Watching your videos where you give away is a true inspiration for me, so I've began to do the same thing, my budget isn't huge but that doesn't matter what matter is to be for the service of others. Cheers brother! May God bless you
Merry Christmas Dawson, love your videos especially the ones where you turn people's days around! You're building a legacy for yourself and making an impact on others. Love you brother!
Watching from Australia and i have only watched this guy dawson for a few videos, all of them said this will help me, and not one said this tip would be great for all of us here and to share it around with all their work mates.
Thank you so much for doing this man. A lot of servers are struggling right now. I have been a waiter for a few years but since inflation & everything people seem to be tipping less even though I am having to spend more in my day to day life. I really think its just because a lot of people are trying to save money in different ways but sadly I am not earning as much as I need to. I know I can go to a different job where I have a better hourly wage but I LOVE what I do and will not be quitting unless it gets to the point that I have to.
This show makes me cry. I just ran into the video.Even though, that never happened to me, I am very happy that it happens to others. Good deed like that; toward other people it just makes tear down. Bless those guys and the people they help.
I love you, Dawson. You are so raw and real, and so sincere. The other guys are great too (TWE/Schapiro), but they are showmen and put on an act, even though they are sincere. You can't act to save your life, so you are always genuine and real. And it effing rocks, bro. Thanks so much for all you do!
I know you dont want to toot your own horn but the kid who said get him to 50 followers - I would love to see his reaction to your actual followers and subscribers
Omg!!! I love the way you did this and how happy you made the servers!! They work hard, i live to see their faces when i leave them even a 20.00 tip ! I remember a bday party i had for my daughter and there were about 15 of us! I left her a 100.00 tipand she came back to me and said i made her cry! I wished i could afford more, just to see them happy and let them know they are appreciated! I have taught my children the same ethics! If, I could do what you do, i would love that experience! I love watching your great heart at work! Thank you for being you!
Sir, I love the way you help people & bringing joyful tears, it means everything to them. You added hopes & aspiration to those who encounters with him. Wow, you are the best 💕. God bless you abundantly sir.
Just love those embarrassing looks when you're running away with those plates mate...a sigh of relief when you showed up....and a blessing with the huge tips...bless you bro....❤ From Solomons 🇸🇧👍♥️🇸🇧🇸🇧
