Thank you, this video was one of the reason why I bought it no one else seems to have it. The hop is on the top receiver V2 is upgraded with better hop up which is Nice!
There are CO2 refillable capsules, those are rechargable like greengas magazines. and there are adapters, where you can load up co2 normal cartridges, and charge magazines with it. problem solved, those refillable CO2 capsules (on aliexpress for example i bought mine) fit perfectly in one of my co2 revolvers, those dont get discharged when taken out, they function like a greengas magazines.
I did my first HPA conversion ever over this winter, I converted my RPK into HPA and damn... it’s turned into a monster now, i got it shooting around 30 rounds per second
@@ThePOSM Its a LMG which stands for Light Machine Gun, it's used for suppression fire which pretty much is just dumping rounds at the enemy team so your team can keep moving
@@magnum1165 yea hut is a reason they dont use miniguns for suppressive fire. you fire slower means you waste less ammo/time witch means you can fire longer and suppress enemy for longer period of time. for example if we exclude mg42 that has 20-25 round/s most LMG are around 13 round/s.
The tippmann is amazing I've had the gen 1 and now own the gen 2. Its the AK of the airsoft world due to how reliable and robust the internals are. Definitely MVP.
@@cbecks2051 The v2 has TDC out of the box which most V1 owners did it to their tippy for better hop. Personally didn't do the mod, and mine is still very straight, but I did swap out the nub for a better aftermarket one (also PDI barrel and bucking). V2 also has a reinforced rear receiver tab, as the V1's common failure point is those tabs that hold the gun together. There was a lot of warranty going on with that issue for the v1 owners who broke theirs. Basically, the V2 is an improved version of the v1 for common issues and failure points.
Mike please... I'm desperate for part two. I am seriously considering this platform as my next airsoft purchase and would love your opinion on the HPA capabilities! Love the content and excitement for our hobby, thank you for being an airsoft ambassador!
P* are typically $300-500 for the engine alone. Plus you need a regulator. So you'll spend easily up to $600+ plus the fact that you'll need to be pretty knowledgeable on the internals. This! This, is awesome. Adjustable fps and rof, built in reg allowing for paint ballers to bring over their set ups easily, and the internals are easy maintenance. I'd say $400-$450 is a fair price. (Oh and you can use co2)
hooah! its also my prefered rifle to run with, ive modded mine soo its downright a killa in all scenerios i come in. and ive made it a little louder then other tippys, aint gonna say how, but lets just say people tent to jump a little if i shoot next to them hehehehe. it makes really fun footage too, witch guys in guillie suits jumpin up from the ground cause i had snuck up behind him, without knowing he was there, or him me. and then stood right next to him firring, he got such a scare he almost pissed him self. his words not mine ahahahah. soo i agree, the best damn rifle i got
Just finished modify my Tippmann with the 1 inch spring space prometheus barrel etc... the best gun I have ever had!! Add a sound hog and you will scare anyone on the reviving end of it! Especially if your running a 1500 round drum mag on it 😂😂
Welcome to the Tippman world. No battery needed and, with a little upgrades, it is an amazing gun.... the recoil.... Regulator???? The Tippman regulator is built in the gun.
Tippman makes stuff to last. they make some of the tanks for the paintball world. Their airsoft guns follow the same standard they have. including the spare parts and bits you'll need. For the price, it's awesome. If i could afford, I would. now if they only made it to run with a 13/300 or 13/4500 tank in the stock that would be sweet. i'm stuck with an old Classic Army G36C that's in need of heavy work.
@@WishWashification better warranty for the $, and Tippmanns can be built into beasts. And tbh I get more general respect when running the Tippmann over the Polarstar
Hmm, see if you can get a sponsorship from one of the companies selling either hand-pumps or compressors intended to fill HPA bottles & PCP airguns. That would make a good review video on its own for explaining the benefits of HPA.
I haven't started playing airsoft yet, unfortunately, but from the looks of it I can't find any good thing from using HPA that would outweigh how ugly, unrealistic and funny it looks TO ME when a gun is connected via big tube to an air tank in your backpack.
Is this something I can take the barrel off and make it short like a honey badger? What about amplifiers can those be added? Also, how much is co2? Why can’t they be refilled?
Now being so unique how is the reliability and the ability to find parts for it and how come their not that popular especially in Canada. Now in the world of paintball they were more predominant and were sold even at Canadian Tire stores so mid to low end paintball gun and now that airsoft is so much bigger now a days where are they and what is the pricing and the limits it can handle as in joules and fps also does it take a proprietary hop-up?.
Mike if you plan to run this gun alot I would look at getting the PTC connector for the gun as it removes the slidecheck that can cause issues. Ive had my Tippmann M4 for about 3 years and they are awesome but I never use the CO2 option
Hello are these tippman still available on the market cause they are never heard of any more and to have the options is awesome. The thing I like the most is that you have a CO2 cartridge permag so that way every single mag you're putting in has a fresh can of CO2 where is if you have one that's just in the rifle then it's trying to divide itself between however many megs you put in it so you're getting a much more efficient and consistent shot-to-shot performance I definitely am interested in saving up for a system I've been on you know the fence of you know going with a gas gun and buying an HPA tap kit but to have the best of both worlds in one unit is so cool. So if it takes you to does it have the similar internals as a gas gun cuz if it does the buffer tube spring you can actually put a shim on that and create more resistance on the spring making a higher FPS or joule rating.
I want the Tippman 22LR pistol. Just waiting for them to get back into stock at the gun stores. I would love to see a review on that, but would not hold my breath since you are in the UK and at best the 22LR rifle is all I could hope for.
When are you going to make a video about HPa on The tippmann. I want to buy one but I’m not sure if it’s a good idea. Are there a lot of troubles with this gun?
Doesn't this version come with a TDC? And don't you require a tournament lock body pin to take it onto the field? Also have they strengthened the body tabs on the new version as the old ones were prone to snapping.
I was about to get a TM Hicapa, but this is exactly what I wanted! Super siked! Glad you made this video cause this is going to save me so much money and space with the built in regulator allowing me to use my paintball setup! (Ps I love your videos 👍)
Hey Mike, have you seen or heard of this one? Ares SOC SLR bullpup assault rifle AEG SOC-AR? If not, think Phased plasma rifle from the future scenes of Terminator 2!
Surprisingly, my v1 only needed PDI barrel + G&G green bucking + a 3d printed flat nub with a bigger surface to replace the original one. It shoots straight, so I decided to not install TDC anymore...
i have another one with Co2...WELL do this too :) its in fact a hybrid...you can get Gas and Co2 mags for same replica...which is AMAZING its an AK74C and a cheap one !
I liked this gun out of the box I had 1 very serious problem with it though, especially because it's 450 dollar price tag... It's all on the custom hop up, you will see on forums and such that it has potential.. but need custom mods ...and its limitations were quickly met with bbs over .25-28 range.. i pretty much gave up on the gun and got something else
This lockdown will go on for longer than they make out fella so might be worth you investing in a t-bar pump to fill it your self plus good exercise in this lockdown 😉👍🏼
as a noob im wondering why isnt CO2 used more often in airsoft? maintenance? cost? convenience? like mike said co2 is more consistent than greengas as well
@@Nathan-nw9pd yes and no.Reality is most airsoft guns really are toys. They just are not built to run 800psi reliably. Look at the high capas.Yes some can run CO2. They usually break quickly however as they are made of pot metal, its why there is such a massive market for strong CNC billet parts. But a well built custom easily cost over £1000.
NO, YOU ARE WRONG for your comment. If you bothered to read the video description and not be 2 whole years late to the video, you would see that your comment is useless! 🤣
