I was crazy over the art nouveau style when I was in my teens (a little while ago now 😆) and absolutely loved drawing flowers. I think your lady would look good in a mint & magenta scheme, nice and bright. I’ve been looking for one of those curvy things for drawing circles etc, so thanks for giving it a name for me. Thank you Tracey 💜 I wish I had discovered it in my teens too (also a little while ago 😉) I think I should use it as a reason to practice drawing flowers some more too . A few comments mentioning greens, pinks and purples. I think that it will go beautifully 😍 I do recommend the curves, they really help with creating symmetry with the squiggly lines.
A big THANK YOU - I love this style, but have never known how to create it. I map things out, but become 'lost' when lining. This has been sooooooo helpful. Can't wait to see you add colour to it.
Great to see an artwork more or less from scratch. I wouldn't manage to cover the lines straight free-handed with a liner pen - they would be wonky without a ruler.I lack the talent for painting and sketching, but as always: Enjoyed watching!
Thank you Crafting Lady ❤️ it is a little trickier to film but I do enjoy sharing it. The free hand work really does come down to practice. Lots of zen doodles with different pen nibs and you can always tidy up wobbles 😁 I'm glad you enjoyed it 😊

That was very Interesting to see how you did the border and how it took shape. My graphic detailing unit at college recommended French curves, I'll have to look at them more closely for those little marks you mentioned on mine. Also what kind of masking tape do you use, is it specifically for art or just a general type?
