Awesome tips!! I've been looking at several SAK's to use so i can stop carrying the sentimental one, a disconnected model that a patient gave me years ago. I've been overlooking the bigger models, but after this video, I'm pretty sure I'll be scooping up a ranger and one of the 2 or 3 layer models as well.. very impressed with this video.
I’m always amazed with your many SAK tips and tricks. The more I watch, the more I EDC my SAK. So which SAK model do you prefer to carry on you everyday?
The Ranger is arguably the best of the fuller-feature SAKs. Has all their best tools, including the extra bottom tools, while still being reasonably compact. (And the chisel isn't as obstructed like on thicker models.)
This a good informative video.... Thinking on getting a swiss army knife for edc, im used to carrying a pocket knife with a clip but something light not to heavy to carry but not sure which one.
This is pretty cool but I feel like it's also a lot more reasonable with that type of wood or plank rather. It's conveniently shaped just right to not be too annoying given the tool. It's also a quite soft wood, looks like normal pine wood to me, so would be interesting to see with some other type of wood as well. Definitely not hating on the content, to the contrary, it's just that I feel like in a real world scenario (whether survival or not) conditions aren't always optimal like they are in these demonstrations! Keep up the good work though, I've learnt a lot from your videos!
Hey buddy 👊🏼 A good all-round video, overall. However, take it from me that in the real world, any professional handyman or tradesman would use proper tools for the job, as they are much more efficient, so more productive and have better ego's, so help preventing fatigue and rheumatism in later life. I love SAK's, as they are convenient and I use them most days, for EDC, as a backup tool... I always have a Handyman or Ranger + Leatherman in my car and some basic hand tools + combi-drill/driver held in the boot, as well as some Bushcraft 🪵🔥 items. My main tools are in my van/truck. Happy Easter 🍻 ATB Gus 👍🏼
