Oh man! Thanks Chris! You made my day! It makes all the time consuming work tolerable when someone like you is nice enough to let me know I help them. Thank you! And thanks for watching. I have a cool video coming out in a few days on something a little different; carbon fiber repair! I do a lot of composites work but this is my first video about it. Take a look at it when it comes out if you have time!

If it meets the diameter specifications, how many burn and scratch marks are ok before needing to replace the cylinder?
@brian.d.mobley
@brian.d.mobley 9 месяцев назад
There is no specific number, but if a gouge is deep enough to snag your fingernail, the cylinder needs service or replacement

So .03 to .05 is the limit for the Is clearance of the bore. If it's at .06 bigger we should use the next size piston?

HI ItsMeltsDrew! I have found that you can find a manual online for just about anything. If you have trouble, join some facebook groups related to the vehicle in question and ask the members. You will be able to find one, Ill bet!

@@brian.d.mobley haha i believe that! my biggest issue is this is a cheap chinese atv from who knows where/what year i picked up for my son and i to try and rebuild - something for us to tinker on together. havent had any luck identifying it

@@itsmeitsdrew Due to my low threshold for frustration, I don't buy any of that Chinese motorcycle stuff! Its always a zillion headaches and I just don't cope well with things that are poorly made. Best of luck though!

I need to rebuild my cr125 is a 1988 , where I can get a rebuild kit?
@brian.d.mobley
@brian.d.mobley 2 года назад
Hi Joel! Im not a big fan of rebuild kits but, you could try Wrench Rabbit. Nowadays, I usually buy the individual parts needed for a rebuild from some retailer likes Rocky Mountain ATV or Motosport.

and the next thing I did was to rectify the cylinder head, retify the cylinder, replace the radiator and the bonba works perfect and anyway I accumulate many pressures in the entire hose .... now I have determined where the problem will be

@@brian.d.mobley So what do I do in that case to regulate it?
@brian.d.mobley
@brian.d.mobley 3 года назад
@@dylandiaz6623 Check the water pump. That’s probably the issue. Or the radiator cap

Do I need to check the squish when putting a new piston/ring in top end for maintenance? No other engine work done. Thanks
@brian.d.mobley
@brian.d.mobley Год назад
In a word, no. As long as the cylinder and/or head have not been resurfaced, the squish is basically set. The only thing that could cause this to vary would be the thickness of the head/cylinder gaskets and those are standardized if you got your gasket from a "normal" part supply source.

brother, I have a Suzuki RM85cc year 2003 that heats up too much and it is breaking me in the rim of the cylinder and it turns off xk the anti-slip is filtered for the cylinder
