Brilliant tips. Have a great new year. Cheers for the Moasure review of the telescopic holder. Think it was me you mentioned in that video as I had bought one on the strength of your moasure vid. Great work pal.

Hi Guys, great videos. I see in this one your laying onto approximately 2 inches of mortar. Do you put any additives in it to give it more flexibility / weather proofing?

No I just use a squirted fairy liquid that’s my plasticiser it’s as good as anything else on the market. It’s the old school way of doing things and has never failed yet I’ve been building walls with fairy liquid in the cement for 30+ years I’m nothing is ever fallen down 👍🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

I bet tilers tools have sold a lot of these. I bought a kit on your recommendation. About to start using them At first I thought that they doubled as spacers, but I see you use spacers as well. Is that necessary? Also what width spacers do you use?

@tidybrickslandscaping

I’d just use the primer I use to slick em down normally as long as you have a flat surface. Or prime the wall and tile and use a little cement between like a sandwich then apply 👍🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

@@tidybrickslandscaping great, save your fingers from pain and slurry mix. Also, it allows you to adjust the slabs around. Great for stacking slabs and so on. I use it for all sorts, lifting plaster board, concrete blocks, OSB board. Good luck.
