Tips for Analyzing your Handwriting and ANALYZING MY OWN HANDWRITNG

Instead of exposing someone else, today I will be exposing myself ;-; I’m also sharing my words of wisdom for anyone else who is brave enough to analyze their own writing. I tried my best to follow my own advice lol but self analyses are difficult. I tried very hard but at he end of the day, my bias is still pretty strong so if I missed any big traits, or you disagree with my analysis plz let your voice be heard in the comments !
My usual disclaimer for anyone wondering: I like to make sure that I am always being as unbiased in my analyses as humanly possible. I always make sure I look only at the traits. The traits can’t lie, and I can’t make up any traits! However if you think that I am being unfair in my analysis in anyway, the comments section is all yours:) by all means, call me out.
Random technical/behind the scenes things for anyone wondering: I swear my audio will get better. I was in the process of moving into a studio in the week I was making this vid, so I didn’t have as much time to kill for waiting for airplanes to pass, birds to shut up, etc, so hopefully there won’t be as much weird background noise in the future since I’ll be living alone and conflict-free. Also, with living alone I’ll be able to talk louder since I won’t need to worry about disturbing any roommates, and I’ll have more time to edit since I won’t get as distracted by people who judge me(HA I’m messy omfg)
Also, if you want to send me a handwriting sample to get analyzed in a future video, send me a picture of it to handwritingforleah@gmail.com :D Just know that I’ve been getting sent a lot of writing recently, and its very hard for me to get to everyone, especially since RU-vid is not my full-time job, I don’t even get paid for anything until I have enough watch hours xD -but please know that I genuinely enjoy talking to you and I wish I could do that more often.
So, what did you think of my analysis? Did you agree or disagree with what I found? Did I overlook any traits? Do you know anyone with writing similar to this?
On another note, if you're new to the channel, Welcome^-^ My name is Leah and I make videos on handwriting analysis and graphology :) I’m even looking into getting the certification to be a licensed graphologist so I have something tangible to prove my credibility because DISCLAIMER: I am not a lisenced graphologist- YET. I just am obsessed with learning about graphology and I know probably more than I should about it.

Just looking at your handwriting makes me even more impressed with you. My god, the honesty (as an INFP that is what I am all about, I love it) You are a hella brave woman. This stuff is so good, I am well and truly hooked myself with graphology. I was even going over old letters from family members, it is enlightening.

I grew up thinking that I was right-handed. It wasn’t until high school that I realized that I was a lefty naturally. This is why I have such a neat, exact, painful writing style. I use every finger on my right hand to write. I also need to rest my hand on the paper to write. This is why I can’t examine my handwriting. It’s an unintentional forgery. It’ll take me several more years of practice writing left-handed before I will be able to more accurately examine my writing.
@rebeccamay6420
@rebeccamay6420 Год назад
Kudos to you for finding your naturally dominant hand. As you continue to use your preferred hand more frequently, you'll probably find your fingers, hands, wrists, arms, shoulders, and neck become less tense. This is just a wild guess: you may find yourself not holding your breath as often while writing, and you may start getting fewer headaches too. 😉 Don't be too quick to stop using your non-dominant hand, though. It can be quite useful to be able to write clearly with either hand. In older generations, children would get punished for writing with their left hand and would be forced to use their right hand. The (USA) Catholic school system back then: "Lefthandedness is a sign of the Devil!" They'd get their knuckles swatted with a ruler, and the nuns would tie their left hand to the back of the chair. Dreadful!! This caused so much trauma to those young, impressionable minds. As a result, some began stuttering and became suddenly quite clumsy and uncoordinated -- unsure of themselves and in fear of impending punishment for making a mistake. PTSD!! It has been a while since discussing the topic with a Catholic school student or former student -- Do they still do that to Lefties in this millennium? If so, the teachers (nuns) should try to spend a day or more wearing their shoes on the wrong feet. Uncomfortable, awkward, disorienting, demoralizing.... and it's just a plain stupid idea to force it upon someone else.

I’m a person who actually “created” my own handwriting. I hated how it used to look so i physically changed it to be completely different from what it naturally is, so it’s very hard for me to tell anything about it. The longer I’ve written like this, the more natural it becomes, do you have any thoughts in this?

I've done that too!! For me personally, I have seen that I tend to gravitate towards the handwriting that describes my mental state, but obviously like a cleaner, more tame version of it. And I've also noticed that after some time, the signs just tend to "show up". It happens slowly enough that you don't realize the change but it's there. For analyzing your handwriting, I'd suggest that you take a sample where you were not actively thinking about how you decided to write, or take a sample where you were quickly noting something down

I feel like that could be a vanity thing. I do the same thing a lot and I feel like it could suggest you care about what others see or you are peculiar about how you present yourself? My interp of your writing is : At the time you wrote this , you were very apathetic to your environment. You have resentment to one family member. Very little enthusiasm and holding back when showing emotional response. You like to take your time when planning events. You cannot be pushed or rushed…….not a good dancer. Lol clumsy and awkward when spot light on you. Sarcasm. Greek small g showing artistic ability. Hard for you to share items. You know what you know and no one can change your mind. You tie up small t , meaning you are head strong and make your eval upon first meet of a individual. You rent space in your head. Mulling over things that you have no control of. You have a very young spirit. Probably more of a loner than people realize. Oh you have a great u tube channel!!!

Looked at my own handwriting over the past 15 years (that's as far back as I have examples) and turns out...yeah, I'm a very boring person, pretty stable, nothing has happened to me and I'm basically the same person I was back in 2006, lol. Yeah. Pretty accurate. My capacity towards mediocrity would be astonishing, if it weren't so fricking dull. But hey, I'll take immensely uninteresting over chaotically distressed any day. Fun to do though. Thanks for your own honesty. I just discovered your channel today and am binge watching all the graphology videos during some nice, chill down-time. Immediate sub! x

I'm aware of the fact that this video is an older one but uH Anyways, as a child, I was super duper very extremely full of anxiety. Because of this I would practice my handwriting over and over until I had really obsessively neat writing, and it stuck. so I'm not sure if my current (slightly less anxiety filled) writing would read as currently accurate? How would something like that work? Its really interesting to think about different factors in someone's writing
@m00nrac00n
@m00nrac00n 3 года назад
In another video she mentioned teaching yourself super neat handwriting can be a sign of wanting to gain control over your life and emotions. So you might have mental struggles and therefor feel powerless or lost, so you focus on something as easy as handwriting you can easily have control over. Essential a way to cope.

Erik Erikson elaborated a theory about the different psychosocial stages people go through through their lifetime. From 13 to 21 approx, people go through the Confusion vs Identity stage which is more social because of the needs to be met there. Around 21 you go through the Intimacy vs Isolation stage that lasts until the 40 years old life crisis. I think the change in your handwriting is characterized by the transition of those two stages. Love your work by the way. The teacher archetype is strong within you!

I followed along with my own handwriting, my notes so far. -Chaotic - sometimes shows confidence/ optimism -the slight back slants -few connected letters ( especially the e's, like he, ve, le, etc) - closed and openned O's ( makes sense since I am open to talk about my traumas and mental health with others, thought it would be interesting to share this note) - the - on the T's are low and slightly bowed, when two T's are together they are connected with one - , the T's also tend to curve - space between words are not coherant, some words are closer, some very spaced away. -my I's are always in caps and small. i will analyse more, and analyse some older handwritting. It's a lot of fun! Thank you for sharing your own handwrititng as well

Focusing on the 2021 sample, with the outward reaching R's; I don't know much about graphology, only got into it today, but I interpret it as the writer tends to reach out to others, lending a helping hand. The o's still do some minor looping, not a double loop that signifies dishonesty but a single loop that suggest secrecy (meaning the writer is a secretive person). The leftward loop in most of the p's suggests the writer is physically active. Can't remember what made me notice this, but I did notice something that signifies that the writer struggles with impulsiveness and/or intrusive thoughts. The singular y I found's tail is a single line, meaning the writer is a loner possibly. The writer has an Arcade style of connection om the letters (curved, angled, and no covering stroke) which suggest being secretive and protective. The t's aren't looped suggesting the writer is hard working, disciplined, and had a strong sense of self control. The l's (L) tend to loop, so that means having big hopes and dreams The top of some of the lowercase letters are sharp, showing that the writer is a smart person, fast learner, and possibly doesn't like taking things slow. The curving t-bar means that the writer is very self-controlling, and the self-controlling also shows through in the now smaller writing (which can also mean being more focused on logical and common sense based thinking) The lower curve of the s's are quite smaller than the upper curve of the s's, meaning the person talks more, works less. The spacing between the curves of the m's suggest that the writer is analytical, perhaps overly analytical. The slashing to the right in some of the i's suggests being impatient/irritable when it comes to mistakes. I'd point out more but I'm tired, and hungry, so I'ma leave it there. (Also, thank you for getting me into graphology. I found you today, and graphology became my new hyperfixation. Also, caffeine isn't a substitute for sleep, slow down and rest. Hope I wasn't over stepping with this, just wanted to give it a go. ♡)

Took a good look at my o’s specifically. I noticed an inner loop on the right with some o’s and an open o with others. I also noticed I have some normal closed o’s. Some of the open o’s had the right loop, which I found interesting. For the most part the loops were half the size of the o or a quarter of the o. I genuinely find this very interesting. However, my writing isn’t connected. I lift up the pencil for everywhere letter. So I found this pretty interesting. Always fun learning new positive and negative things about myself! Also found it surprising I had a slight forward slant pop up in some areas. Honestly expected a slight reclined. Noticed I could be a bit of a pessimist sometimes when I’m writing without any guidelines because my sentences travel downward eventually (which is something I’ve always noticed that’s irritated to some degree.) Sucks but what can you do?

Omfg, my cell just deleted a decent length to, ugh. Without body or written analysis I can tell you have uneasiness there, I can just sense it from ur feelings..even b4 this vid. Do not sweat things as much. There is a new step in psychological/parenting. Punish and reward, helps in healthy progress. Think of such things as constructive criticism and remember ur good sides. I mean, you are so smart, and thoughtful of others than just yourself and one big big thing, you leave yourself open to being right or wrong..that leaves the door right open for progress. One thing I've told every person I've helped is to help others like I did them. It shows us all that the grass is not so green on that other side. It shows us that what we got, could be so worse.

What does it mean when my handwriting hasn't changed much since i was like 9 years old? Could it have something to do with the trauma that i experienced at that age? I always wondered if that means that i can't get over what happened and that some part of me still feels like the child i was back then, which is indeed the case. My handwriting never had a backward slant though. I would overall describe my handwriting as kind of awkward, as if i was still learning to write properly. The baseline's kind of all over the place too and i tend to write over the lines. The letters are all kind of shaky and chaotic too and the letters are not really consistent, like sometimes an e looks like an l because i accidentally make such a huge loop on top.

I wanna know now why I always write in capslock, forward slanted with middle line dominant and it is starting to make everything clear now, I have tendencies of OCD behavior like I have to be perfect and not make mistakes because a lot of people I think? keep tabs on the things I do and accomplished, so far. I am so anxious with making mistakes that it shows in my writing. I wanted to know what those means like the way I wrote from my gradeschool years and now. It definitely became smaller and so neat that it looks like printed at some point. But, it just gives me relief when I write so neatly, it's like my sort of release of everything that is happening around me. Hope I can send mine as well and get your opinion on it! New subscriber here, I do enjoy your analyses. Keep up the great work!

What I get from this, lockdown and Covid made you question how much you value/ depend on other people. You became more withdrawn and mature. You worked on your self and realised things about your self and other people. You probably cut a lot of ties and intensified the relationships that you decided to keep. You got to know a new version of your self. New wants hopes and dreams. Yes you probably were a more than average hot mess in 19 but the changes to me look like the type of changes everyone went through in the past two years. I don’t think you were exposing yourself that horribly. The only thing you did expose is really strong self criticism. Be more gentle with your self! Your O’s are totally fine!

Since the pandemic (also being in uni instead of school so naturally my contacts rely less on proximity and more on whether I want to see them) my words have become a lot more spaced out. I wonder if others have experienced this change

This was really cool, thanks. My own writing is pretty neutral slanted, but wavey baseline and variable sizing.

These vids are really interesting, but I'm wondering something here - given that most people are right handed, is this analysis based on right handed writing, or are left handed people included in this too? I'm asking this cause I'm left handed and that's influenced the way I write, I tend to lean into the page and go way off the margin (and yeah, I'm a distanced, high self esteem guy) it's also possible that it's because of my hand getting in the way of the paper

Here my fav 😄www.lasorsa.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/02/Handwriting-Analysis.pdf Just keep in mind that it’s from the 80s so it’s very dated in the language it uses, and sometimes the language is just very harsh but it’s a really good online pdf. It’s so hard to find free graphology book PDF s so I’m always looking for more but yes I like this one ☺️

Just a quick question. I'm aware of the fact that i have actively changed my writing like added loops on my y's and g's. Because i just like to keep my pen on my writing lines. Since I have manually changed how i write is there a way to analyze it?

Anyone else changes their handwriting constantly? I personally change it all the time depending on what I’m writing. I’m just wondering what that means.

could it be that the separations between words is a result of covid? like we're literally more socially withdrawn because of it in general 🤔 idk might be obvious stuff but yeah (also it was very brave of you opening up like this)

What does it mean in your handwriting when there are spaces you are supposed to capitalize and you don’t or spaces you were not supposed to capitalize and you did, not entirely on purpose but not entirely on accident?

Ugh I really have a hard time picking writing samples lol. Knowing which one is a good sample, and the something that isn't too structured when that's not necessarily normal for me, or something where my handwriting is different than usual, pen versus pencil... I also wonder if I should self discover my handwriting or have someone else do it (or maybe I could kinda of collab on my writing interpretation).

hmm.. i am wondering if the pandemic might cause a general shift in some people's handwriting due to maybe being more comfortable with solitude and even enjoy it/ prefer it more, what with lockdown during that period and all? is there a possibility that such a lifestyle change would refelect in the spacing of handwriting?
