Finally a comment section that isn't blindly hating the game, as always boomstick gaming delivers actual combat tips. I'm so glad you covered this game man, i always happen to play games you cover, i find you everytime i want technical tips about a game. Thanks for always being here.

I seen all the discourse surrounding dragon age and while I do understand the flaws in its story and world building, noone has shown of its combat like you have in your videos. The mages combat just looks and sounds so fun that I’m gonna be picking up the game for the combat, thanks for the amazing showcase of the gameplay!

Whoa! That dodge backwards for the spectral boomerang to travel further and possibly hit more enemies is sick! I keep seeing comments about "simplistic combat" and just laugh when I see all these different combos and the ways you can chain things together. Being able to cancel animations into a block or dodge alone with my Warrior Rook has already made the combat incredibly engaging.

Mage looks insane and Im glad to see it. They were nerfed badly in Inquisition

Thanks for the great tips and showcase! I’m only a couple hours in but can’t decide between spellblade and evoker. Orb and dagger just feel so good to play but I initially was drawn to the more ‘traditional’ ranged mage playstyle of evoker. Can already tell I’ll be doing multiple playthroughs just to try every class and specialisation 🥲😂

Probably going spellblade for me. That being said, I would love to see tips for being a better Rogue and Warrior too. Since, considering we can respec our entire skill tree at any point(if we want), I'm pretty sure following playthroughs will use the other classes.

I wonder if a lightning/cold storm mage is possible with evoker. Using a staff and with projectile bonuses, it might be pretty nifty. I don't care for melee, so spellblade just isn't for me, which makes me sad because that's where all the lightning bonuses are.

Haven't picked this up yet. I know Gamespot said there were issues with the lock on system as a Mage? Just wondering if anyone has that issue? I'm still deciding on what class I'm going with.

The dragon age: Origins babies are soaked in tears cause they gameplay is dated, and will never see the light of day again😢😢😢😂😂😂 if it’s so great get off the comments and go back and play it with some mods or something. Get the same ones who be making those Skyrim modes and be happy😮😂

honestly ... who cares about this game, it is bad at everything, except maybe how the environment looks.

Tip 1: Uninstall, refund, and play something that isn't propaganda

According to this game, to be a better mage you have to vigorously study all the pronouns and learn how to grovel properly to the they/thems 😂

nah, i'd rather stay straight.

All mages have a staff as there main weapons from the first game all the way to inquisition now we have daggers may as well give them a wand at this point.... Daggers are for rogues 🤬

I was trying to replay the series to prepare for veilguard ... But the pain for me was, the combat is too outdated.🥲 It was great in the day, but it needed to evolve. Thank God, they eveolved the series combate 😊
