Hey, cool vid! I have a video based A9 question. I use the A9 alot with my 2-600. If you were to video BIF coming directly at the camera at speed... what settings would you use to maintain AF?
Great vlog and very useful tips. I have been using a Nikon D500 and I am currently considering the A9 or A7R IV. Cant justify both and do about 50% Landscape and BIF, on that bases would you recommend the A7R IV? My only concern is most of my BIF and Wildlife is done with cloudy sky and to obtain 1/2000 shutter I will be at 3200+ how much different is the ISO between to two at 3200/6400? Many Thanks
If you are doing a lot of BIF under those conditions I would probably recommend the A9 because of the better autofocus tracking, speed and high ISO performance. If you are not desperate to buy now it may be worthwhile to hold off buying anything until the rumoured A9III is released. If it has 45MP as has been suggested with the performance of the A9 it would be perfect for both landscape and wildlife photography.
