Thank-you Brandin - this is a great video you provided. We returned last year from 6 weeks in Yorkshire and I find it takes a few days to get used to the local roads and rental vehicle on each trip, but that's a good tip about the speed zones.
durring summer time this speed limits are indeed very annoying.. But over winter and autumn the roads can be very slippery due to the rain and snow, and if you loose control you will end up failling of the cliff instead of just bumping into the fence a bit. Driving 20 is indeed annoying

Im guessing north americans arent used to changing speeds regularly. We have the same speed limits in the uk in residential areas, it really isnt an issue as its corrisponds with potential hazards. Looks like a lovely place to visit, thanks for the video.
Very interesting and similar to my own experience of driving in Montenegro. Some really beautiful scenery and all the main roads were decent. The little mountain roads were a bit more challenging but that's to be expected. Shame about your unfortunate situation with the Bosnian Police - things like that don't help tourism sadly.
Exactly. The speed limits are a dessaster! Thrust me, I live in Montenegro, had like 4 speed tikets in one year. Do you know another country in the world that put you a 30eur tiket for going at 46km/h???
Thank you For the Interesting and Informative Video. Just a quick question, Was the car you driving left or right handed? As Cars in Montenegro are right and I would like to hire a Car left handed to avoid any confusion :D
Thanks for watching! I was driving a left hand drive Volkswagen. I don't recall seeing many right hand drive vehicles in Montenegro, I believe most were left hand drive.
thanks a lot for this! how about the gas stations? are there enough along the way and is the price reasonable? also, do you have to pay for parking spots in all/most areas?
I don't recall having any issues finding fuel, however I was mainly in the more populated southern part of the country. I also recall the price being comparable to other European countries, and we were driving a Polo, which is fairly economical. We mostly parked at the hotel or in rural areas, so didn't have to spend much time finding parking in urban areas, so I can't necessarily comment on that!

Sounds like a great trip! Unfortunately I don't have a lot to contribute as far as renting a car in Montenegro is concerned, as we rented our car outside of the country.
