I love that you don't wait for "everyone to jump on" and then start saying Hi to everyone who has. You get straight to the subject & are very informative. You make everything seem easy :) Thanks so much xxx
Yes Deborah. I agree. You would not believe how many people I stop watching because they have to stop 20 times in the middle of sentences to say hi, and thank you, and this and that. Angela knows how to keep my attention for sure.
@@peachycheeks4394 yes, I don’t even bother attempting to watch Tim Holts any more for that reason. It just wastes my internet & money to wait for so long. 😉😊
Angela I started watching you on blueprint. I did a lot of the quilts you showed but always straight line quilting and in the ditch with a walking foot. Then I did your quilting with rulers challenge. I would move an inch without the ruler then a few inches and one day near the end no ruler. Didn’t even realize it and then I did! I called my husband and my son to my room yelling omg I’m doing it! THANK YOU. You are right practice.
I love your tutorials, and I learned so much from your visit to our quilt guild, back in the good old days. El Camino quilt guild, Oceanside California.
Your tutorials are THE BEST I've seen! I am binge watching them, then watching them again. You get straight to the point and don't waste time! Thank you!!!
Love watching Angela’s machine quilting videos, and I loved watching the chat on feathers. I feel that Taking the time to draw the feathers out with a maker and white board while talking about her tips helped so much in my feather making.
The light bulb finally just went off for me!!! The alternate way you showed with the half heart to start works so much better for me. Thank you SO much ❤️
It has been a long time since I practiced feathers! In an effort to get back to it, I am going to practice, practice and practice some more. Thank you Angela!
Thank you Angela for this video. I love feathers but was having a hard time with spacing and filling an area. I found you by accident actually on Facebook. I have joined your group. Cheers!
I have been to several of your talks and classes, watch your tutorials and I never tire of listening to you. Not only are you talented but your a born educator. Hope you will always be there.
Thank you Angela! This was a great chat, hated for it to end. You gave some really great tips and helped me to understand why my feathers were going in different directions.. 😂. Merge, merge, merge...
You are amazing. I am learning so much from your RU-vid, I watch your RU-vid over and over from almost every day. Even my husband knows you, we watch together. ^^. I started sewing last July, and it’s very therapeutic for me. Thank you.
Hi Angela. I just wanted to tell you that I LOVE your "wild" feathers! I used them on my first "real" quilt (I don't count my previous attempt which was actually just a panel) ...but the "real" quilt that I made for my husband...even as a novice quilter, I put your wild feathers (as seen in your "shape by shape" book that I got for Christmas that year...I quilted them in the border and it turned out beautifully! He loves it and it is STILL my favorite quilt! Thank you for sharing your talent! You are an inspiration!
I love feathers! They are my absolute favorite! I need to rewatch the feather challenge videos to refresh myself! Loved the paisley feather at the end. Forgot about that one!!
Ohhhhh I just love watching your live chats and videos!!!!! I would LOVE the quilt pattern to make for one of my quilt besties!!!!! Thank you for all you do for the quilterholics out here!!!!!
Thank you! I enjoyed this so much. And drawing really is super important! It helps you train your brain and hands in the motions necessary to produce any quilting design before you actually put thread to fabric. It's an invaluable practice.
You are a great teacher with so much practical, helpful info. & Thankyou for not telling everyone on the chat Hello. I have pretty much stopped listening to any live chats because of that. I appreciate the little how to's on getting out of a mistake without it really looking like a mistake. Thank you, you are awesome !
Really looking forward to next week! I hve a baby size quilt , like railroad, and no idea how to quilt it! I hve to watch the re-run tho, love ya work but not @ 3am my time 😆
Good to see you, funny story for you. I'm watching this at 2am, of course, and I kept hearing the *thump* when you bumped your elbow on the table and I thought Stan was falling out of bed! 🤣🤣
I love doing feathers. Like you one day it just clicked. I learned lots of great tips that I hadn't thought about and will try them on my next feather adventure. Thank you for another great tutorial.
Great show. Thanks. I used to put feathers on everything back when I was hand quilting. My current machine feathers are still pretty “rustic” but I’m improving. Your suggestions are helping me immensely! Thank you. New mantra: If ya don’t like it, echo ECHO! Yeah that works 💕
The tips you shared in this video were life changing for me. I have been trying to do feathers since I purchased my long arm six months ago. I have now conquered free motion feathers and am quilting them on everything I load on my machine. I am in feather heaven!
Loved the tutorial. I just finished feathers in a circle and was trying to figure out the way to fill in the edges of the square and you have just given me some wonderful ideas to use. Thank you.
Dear Angela, I found my answer regarding the look of the feathers. I said before my feathers look like drawn by a kid. It is the echoing of the Stem, that make the feathers come to life. Thank you so much for your detailed explanation
Thanks Angela for sharing your fabulous tips and tricks! I’ve learned sooooo much from you and you have been the primary motivator to get me to actually get on and just do it! You’re a star!
Missed live today, but just rewatched. Can’t wait to try some feathers again. First attempt, well I didn’t love them. I so want to though. Thank you, Angela
Thank you Angela for a great video I have always shyed away from quilting feathers you make it look so easy & you explain it o well , I will definitely give it a go , I love all your tutorials, stay safe & well there in your country , from a quilt lover in Queensland Australia 😙 😍
I loved doing the feather challenge! I always wanted to learn and you helped me become comfortable (if not perfect) in the world of feathers!! Thank you #AngelaWalters as always, I love spending time with my quilts friends!! 💕
Very good explanation today, thank you! My biggest struggle is practicing to build muscle memory. Are there any workbooks with tracing pages for those of us with zero imagination?
