I really wish there was more content like this that specifically goes over elemental application, Units and all. If we had a good, universal list of characters and their elemental applications, I think creating teams to maximize elemental reactions would become much, much easier. Thank you for your contribution. I hope you keep up the good work.
If you check out KeqingMains, there's actually a list you're taking about. It includes the application of every single character, so it really helps in team build! Here's the link to it. library.keqingmains.com/resources/compendiums/elemental-gauges
Hahaha it is! It’s the most unique character, and her playstyle is also one of the most unique too! Who would have guessed we can deal tons of damages just by farming seeds? LOL
Or an option to reduce the dynamic range of brightness. I had to put brightness on lowest both in game and on my display to not get blinded in daytime Monstadt as soon as I started Genshin Impact
Watching your video is really worth my time. You deliver so many tips in very short time. It's hard to find a good Nilou guide and this is it. I have a Nilou but idk how to maximize her potential and now I know. Thanks
This team work so well that it seems Dendro Archon is going just an expensive upgrade, you managed to clear easily with f2p options, Is good to remind people they don't need to pull for 5☆ units in order to get the job done. Really good video, love your content
Indeed! I'm 100% certain Dendro Archon beats Nilou's best in slot weapon in this team. Honestly I feel like this is one of the most powerful single 5 star team we ever have, aside from Raiden National!
Lol the point you were trying to make just got lost. You weren't talking about weapons. Fact is, you're seriously hurting yourself if you're trying to run Nilou bloom and not going for Nahida. She is a ridiculous upgrade to MC. Getting the characters isn't even the problem. You know what has to be done to get them. Getting EM cups is the damn problem.
@@banjoowo4001 IKR you can never go wrong while pulling for the archons, zhongli makes the team almost immovable and immortal. Raiden contributes great damage and unlimited energy recharge. and now nahida is the best dendro buffer which might be the strongest element currently. Venti kinda fell off from the top spot because of kazuha but he's still a great unit than most.
This was really helpful!! Thank you very very much!! When I first used Nilou and her team, I was literally just spamming and scratching my head over what is happening. Additionally, my stupid brain took 10 minutes understanding this 3 minute video lmaoo
Just put the video on 0.5x speed. It is not enogh time to even read every piece of text that explains important stuff when on 1.0x speed, let alone comprehend
Great Video but I hope there could be voice over (even with those AI voice editing /text to audio narrations , better than nothing). because it is hard to read text and keep an eye on the movement of the characters etc at the same time ..
Thank you sm for this! I wanna get her this rerun and was wondering about which character within the team to stack em on (I'll have kokomi nilou trav and collei) but em koko is gonna heal less and considering the deadly suicidal bloom reaction.... So I was thinking of an em traveler but your explanation on why hydro should be seed generator convinced me!
Yeah, that's right. To be more precise, core damage scales on character that creates the seed. Most seeds are created by Barbara and Nilou, so level them up benefits the most.
Nice video thanks. As we start with Nilou's E to activate her passive and benefit from the EM buff as soon as possible, it is necessarily a slow hydro application, the second hydro character (the main trigger on field) must be a slow hydro enabler too. Nilou's teams are extremely limited. However, it is also possible to play slow dendro with a Dendro trigger on field. Nahida as a Dendro trigger on field, (hurry up !) probably the best bloom team to come.
@@OmegaXII One question, why Ocean-Hued Clam on Barbara rather than Gilded dreams ? Clam : At the very best, but often much less : 27,000 from sea-dyed foam explosion, every 3.5 sec and +15% healing (is it really significant ?) versus Gilded dreams : +100 EM on every bloom reaction and 14% Atk on every atk. With Nilou in the team, I would tend to think that Gilded dreams is more profitable
Good question! I actually did a lot of calculations on this when I’m choosing artifacts. TLDR is, the damage from clam set actually out-dps the Gilded Dream, and with better healing. My Barbara is EM build, so in Nilou team she has 800-900 EM already. Another 150 EM from Gilded set has really severe diminished return, it only increase seed damage by 1.5-2k each. And I have calculated the healing barbara does. It’s actually possible to meet the maximum amount the clam set. You just need to use a few charge attack. So in order for Gilded dreams be better, you have to generate more than 10-15 seeds under 3.5 seconds, which is quite a lot. Basically impossible with current collei and traveler. Also, not every seed is generated by Barbara, so it makes it even more harder to do so. That’s the reason why I chose Clam set. Though in real situation most probably you won’t heal up to threshold, so maybe this two sets are really close with each other. If you already have one set upgraded, no need to change already.
@@OmegaXII Thanks ! It's so difficult to define diminishing return treshold... So with Nahida team, I'm going for : - Nilou full HP 2 Millelith + 2 GD / 70 k HP + Khaj-Nisut (140 EM) + Nilou 1st passive (100 EM) = 240 EM buff - Collei Atk/DMG/Crit : C4 (+60) + Elegy (+100) + 4PC Instructor (+120) = 280 EM buff - Nahida 4 Deepwood EM/EM/Crit : Q = 250 EM buff - Barbara (I hate Kokomi sailormoon chara design) 4 Clam with something like 800 EM. -> 770 EM buff Barbara -> 1570 EM on a proper rotation. What do you think of it?
This would be a pretty nice build on Barbara. There’s only one thing though. Your seed is gonna so hit hard that it’ll start killing your teammate LOL. ^^ Maybe consider changing another EM piece for HP? 1.5k EM is really scary haha.
I didn't know about the Bloom Settings. But you know what, I think I might turn it on, the effects look beautiful especially when it deals huge damage LOL
this explains so much! I've been stuck at 14k cores and couldnt figure out why. (meanwhile i have all lvl 70~80 characters DX and no upgrade mats) also for healing I use nahida. still trying to get her EM pieces in a healing set but as a healer/driver she does alright. works better in a hyperbloom comp where only electro EM affects damage though. i get 19k for those so i kinda put nilou aside for the time being.
investing in nilou is so rewaeding, not having to gamble for months for a decent set, she is very grateful with any investment you give to her, I still dont have a usable Vermillion set for my xiao, and I have been living in that domain since it came out.
Yeah, she's so friendly in both weapons and artifacts. Only requires minimum investment to deal tons of damage, sometimes even higher than other properly built team (My Nilou already beats my triple crown Itto LOL) The same can't be say for the next new character though.. oh man.
Need help with my team comp. I have yao yao, dendro traveller, nilou and yelan. Im planning to go full HP on Nilou and yao yao will be my dedicated healer while yelan with add hydro applicator. So between these characters, which one should i give full EM and who will be mostly on field? At the moment, my traveller using full EM artifact since his burst have big AOE. But im not really sure if this is the correct way
Very useful tips. Thanks! I've heard 3 Hydros + Dendro Archon trigger will work. What do you think about that? Is it workable to plan to build Dendro Archon, Nilou, Xingqiu, Kokomi, where DA is the trigger? I'm not looking forward to redoing my Hydros with EM if the Archon will have a full EM build anyway. Another option I have in mind is having Nilou as the trigger with DA, Candace and Kokomi. Not sure which one would work better. Haha
You don't need to actively stack EM on Kokomi. Use Sacrificial Fragments is enough for any EM requirement. As for DA trigger the seeds, I don't think it works well. For Bloom, quantity is always better than quality. No matter how much EM you stack on DA, it won't beat multiple seeds from Hydro units. The current problem is always Dendro Characters. Kokomi+Nilou's Ring is already tons of Hydro. It's Dendro which always can't keep up. That's why most team builds we have are double Dendro. Even so, it still can't keep up. Unless DA on-field has enough Dendro for all three off-field Hydro to generate seeds, then it's definitely OP.
@@OmegaXII I would also like to add that for 3 Hydro 1 Dendro, u are only guaranteed for Dendro as the trigger vs 1 enemy. When u incorporate multiple enemies, only 1 enemy has consistent hydro aura while the others are on dendro aura as XQ/Yelan are single target-centric units and as such would just be producing less damage overall from blooms in an aoe scenario. From what Ive observed atleast, even with DA, the scenario i mentioned above still occurs for multi target. And since on Nilou teams u dont have a grouper, it becomes more apparent that its ownership will be a total mess
@@OmegaXII Thanks for the reply. I guess we'll see how it plays out. All I know is I want to make Nilou work since I spent 34k primos on her and that's just C0 and R1 weapon. Yes, I know, I have horrible luck. lol
From my experience, don't use Nilou's Ring, Ayato's Q and Ayato's E all at the same time, otherwise the Hydro will be too much. So my rotation is Nilou E -> DMC EQ -> Ayato Q -> Yaoyao Q -> Yaoyao E (After Q Finishes) -> Ayato E
So the best in a Nilou team would be using EM Kokomi/Barbara on-field? I use Nilou/Kokomi/Nahida/Traveler but I couldn't find the perfect rotation yet :(
I built my nilou bloom team (f2p) and floor 12 is like nothing bro, this team is insanely broken. My team: Hybrid nilou 1000em Barbara 1000em nahida Er and hp build yaoyao
Wait should I use wanderer/new artifact that + em for 2 pieces or ocean huerd or what set for bruhbruhra .Btw I don't have sacrificial fragment as f2p😢 ...so which book should I use on her.(rlly love ur video)
From my calculations, Clam set beats all other sets, but not far. So use any set you have, no need to specifically farm for her (Especially if you don’t have Itto) As for weapon, you can use Prototype Amber or TTDS just for healing, or you can go for EM books for more damage. Either way it shouldn’t have much difference, since most damage is from Nilou’s passive. It’s very friendly for us in this regard. Anyway, glad you enjoy my video!
Hey im new to this bloom team. Really confuse i use DMC, Yao2, Yelan, Nilou and the bountiful core stucked at 12 - 18k damage. And the quantity of seed also less superior than the team you showcased. Should I change my current team? My character's level are Yelan lv85, DMC lv80, Yao2 lv80, Nilou lv90
You need to stack EM to do more damage with the cores. My Barbara in the showcase has over 1000EM. Your team is okay, Nilou is fine with almost Dendro/Hydro, and Yelan is one of the better one. It's just we usually don't bring her because she's usually DPS build.
Does my Bloom DMG also scales off my Dendro Supps? Because if I try to do a Bloom Reaction with my Dendro Traveller the Bloom does 12k DMG (He is lvl 90 and my Nilou still 70) and if i try to to my Bloom DMG with Collei who is only lvl 40 the DMG is 1700 with Bloom. Ty in Advance!
Yes it does. It scales on the character that triggers the Bloom. So the best case scenario is levelling up everyone to LV 90, so no matter who creates the seed, it’ll always have high damage.
Bountiful Cores(not Dendro Cores) just scale off Nilou's HP(doesn't matter with which character u trigger them) which deal more damage than the normal ones
@@Dale553 You are misunderstanding Nilou's 2nd passive. She simply scales the damage of all Bountiful cores based on her HP, the triggering character's level and EM is still very important.
@@Dale553 Bountiful Cores base damage comes from level and EM of the character triggering the reaction. Nilou's hp only provides an increase of said damage.
Collei 200%, Traveler 250% is probably already enough for smooth rotations. It’s actually a good idea to stack some EM on them, because in reality we can’t really make sure all seeds are created by Hydro. But, ER is still the most important stat. Personally I stacked 280% ER with 75% Crit Rate for Favonius Traveler, because she’s too hungry for energy LOL. You can check out my latest guide to see it.
If i use Nilou as normal attack (on field) not barbara like in your video, is it ok only nilou level 90 and barbara, traveler and collei level 70 (as off fields), or i need level up them too to level 90? Even they in off field?
In perfect situation, where all seeds are generated by Nilou and Barbara, yes you’re right, both Traveler and Collei can stay low level. But in real situation, it’s very common to see Dendro creates seed, because they just can’t keep up enough Dendro Application. That’s when their level matters. I wouldn’t go as far to LV90, because they’ll be replaced by better units eventually (Nahida for one). That’s why I stay at Lv80.
I am playing triple hydro with Nilou, Koko, Yelan and Dendro Traveler. I am producing fewer cores. But single target DPS is higher bcs of Yelan. So the team can do both. And here the Dendro Traveler is pretty much guaranteed to own every single reaction. So I try to get the most EM on him. I end up with 600 to 700 EM but still have 250 ER. I have a C0 R1 Nilou, Yelan is C3 with R1 Elegy, Koko is C0 with Prototype Amber right now.
That's incredible! It shows how well Nilou can actually adapt to the environment. But still, I would very much prefer more seeds, because its FUN to watch all the chaos LOL.
Only Traveler has energy problem, others are very sustainable. So my recommendation is stack as much ER on Traveler as possible. Ignore about their damage, it’s low compared to those seeds.
It means how much Hydro is applied for every skill. Strong Hydro means 2 Units of Hydro, while Weak Hydro refers to 1 Unit Hydro Skills like Childe's E and Q applies Strong Hydro onto the enemies. Some skills like Ayato's Normal Attack, Barbara's Normal Attack, are all applying Weak Hydro.
Using Kokomi Burst applies strong Hydro at that instance, but all the normal attacks afterwards are weak Hydro. BTW, you don’t have to test them out by yourself. There’s already a list about this at KeqingMains. Here's the link to it. library.keqingmains.com/resources/compendiums/elemental-gauges
Actually, your Dendro application is quite enough for support two Hydro, especially with Nahida. Using Nilou's ring won't decrease Barbara's seed. It just yields more seeds, so additional damage.
My lv70 babara is doing 20k bloom (full team buff). How much damage will she be doing when she reaches lv90. Can someone help me I don't know how to calculate the damage.
Too hard to play, that is why she is bad. Still if you try hard enough, she is okay but not good. She is too deadly and risky in her own team. She was supposed to be sub-dps for dendro team. She work as additional dmg for high EM team. The game probably will release hydro or dendro healer based on EM. That is what we need to aim for her.
The only reason why she's hard to play is those two Dendro Support, especially Collei. Once Nahida joins, I'm sure this team will be entirely different, increasing its damage while making the team easy to play. But of course, any EM character will definitely have the chance to join her team. I can say the future is really bright for Nilou!
@@OmegaXII it's true, nahida is good with her but that is still not enough. As you said, her passive only allow 2 type of element. Her team is very terrible against cryo element, especially the one with cryo shield. We can't use full team nilou on exploration. Besides, Nahida and nilou is close range combat character. It's good when there is a lot of enemies but it's difficult to gather all enemy in one location. In abyss, the enemy will gather around you but the range type enemy will try stay away from you like pyro fatui and hilichurl with bow.
Every team has it’s weakness, so yeah, we just have to accept it. However, this doesn’t mean she’s bad in her own field. Hutao also sucks against grouped enemies, but her team is still top tier even for now. Btw, not many enemies hard-counter her actually. Against Cryo enemies she can still generate seeds, so you can actually brute-force the shield down. The speed is definitely not slow because of how hard her seed hits. Nahida is actually ranged Dendro support. She’s a catalyst too. Both Kokomi and Barbara is ranged too. That should somehow solve the problem when dealing with archers.
@@OmegaXII you have point there. Maybe, I judge too fast but nahida range is like Yae Miko 😅 If you talking about nahida skill. Yes, that is massive buff for nilou I'm struggling to use nilou right now. You need to repeat the team rotation. I found it a little bit annoying
If you want to maximise damage, yes you can stack some. But you have to make sure you still have enough ER for burst. Farming EM pieces with ER stats is not exactly easy
@@hindachris8768 Hydro is the better choice, because most seeds are generated by them. Though stacking some EM on Dendro is fine too. Because in real situation there's always seed created with Dendro.
Intro is in the title and thumbnail, no Bullshit ad or intro or beating around the bush, just straight the the point . Thank you. Commenting for the algorithm and please keep the jazz music. 🎉❤
Been looking for some simple explanation for bloom for some times but all others have long crap with little actual explanation. For this video being so great in comparison +1 sub
Hahaha so true! IMO that reaction thing is only useful for single target boss. If against grouped enemies, just throw every skill on them, and watch the world collapse aHAHA
It is, because Hyperbloom only needs to invest on Electro Unit. Though the damage is also noticeably higher than Hyperbloom. Seed count is much more higher because all 4 teammates are generating it.
