My partner convinced me to not bring our little umbrella since we were bringing ponchos and I regreeetttt listening to them hahaha. And yes the four wheels on suitcases that all wheel around 360 is so key!
We’ve definitely not brought umbrellas because we had ponchos and regretted it. Especially when it’s a crazy heavy downpour! Tiny ones are great (even if they aren’t the best quality) to have have just in case!
I cant pack for anywhere in a carry on bag so I envy you guys. I am such an over packer. I actually love shampoo bars but never thought to take one away with me! what a good idea xx
Looks like you guys have the same suitcase as us, ❤️❤️❤️ it it’s the best thing I ever did for travel- and I’ve had 2 for over 5 yrs and still like new
Thank you so much for this video! We are going in Sept 2022. We are getting new luggage and I’m going to spring for hardsided. As a person with *powerful* thighs myself, I use Body Glide as a preventative (also works on feet, arms, anywhere. They even make minis for the park bag! Monistat makes a healing cream if you do end up chafing.
My husband really likes bodyglide! It’s not my personal favorite, but I know it works well for lots of people! Baby powder is definitely my go to! We LOVE our reusable utensils! I can’t tell you how many times we sit down to eat something and we’re like… dang… we forgot a fork. They definitely come in handy! 🤣
No worries at all! Basically I can help book everything for you, help you get dining reservation, help you build out your itinerary, and help answer any questions as well as give you updates on any new Disney news along the way! I also keep track of any discounts that may come out and apply them to your booking for you when they become available! It does not cost anything extra to use my services and I can be as much or as little involved as you wish me to be.
Thanks for the video! Question about the utensils---does it set off the metal detectors at the gate by any chance? I just bought some all stainless steel sets on Amazon and was curious.
Thanks, Jodi! We never had issues with it! The ones we use at the parks are plastic and kind of snap into each other. I’d say for metal, just make sure the knife isn’t sharp and I bet you’ll be fine. Hope that helps!
Love me a good packing video! Thank you for the links. I hope you’re having a great time. Are you staying at Pop, what other on site hotels do you recommend?
Thanks so much! We actually just got back yesterday, but it was a fantastic (but quick) trip! We stayed at Art of Animation this time, which was our first time there! I think the resort can really depend on your family and type of trip you want. Budget can make a huge difference too. We’ve stayed at Pop in the past and loved it! If you want more recommendations, I’d love to know a little more to help you choose the best resort for you. Feel free to fill out this questionnaire, and I can send you more information: www.hemphillyeverafter.com/goofy-getaways-questionnaire
So I have a question. Me and my son are flying to Disney for the FIRST time in August. We had planned to do carryon bags with a weekend duffle that will go over the handle of the suitcase. I had planned to put our park bag inside the duffles… but someone told me they will not allow that? That it will count as a separate bag. I’ve never flown before….
It might depend on the airport, but I’ve definitely flown with bags inside of bags! The biggest thing is to make sure that your duffel is personal item sized and not carryon item sized.
Thanks for the tip! We actually bring body glide and baby powder on every trip! I got blisters last time because I had worn some new leggings that trapped in a lot more moisture than I thought they would. Usually leggings KEEP me from getting chafing, but those particular ones did the exact opposite lol
I think since they were plastic and didn’t really look like a knife, I think we were ok. But if you are checking a bag, I would recommend putting them in there to be safe!
We absolutely love our suitcases! I love how nothing has ever gotten broken or damaged inside. We ALMOST had to use our packable duffel on the way home, but we didn’t. 😂
