I got a Mr clean duster for 5 bucks at big lots that is exactly like the wooly wormit. Been cleaning my rims and barrel for 2 years with it. Bought 3 more for backup
13 minutes of talking about brushes and not a single wheel was cleaned. a little montage or a 2 minute clip would have been good to break up the video a little.
plenty of wheel cleaning videos on my channel this was to discuss some ways to dry and ensure proper flawless finishes and show the modified tools i use and ones i do not suggest using.
What kind of jack did you use to lift the car? I need to go around the car and pull and put back on one wheel at a time. I have heard the Quik Jack is a real failure.
Man love that idea for the woolly wormit. Saw it before from Pan''s video and really disliked the idea of getting my hands wet and contact with the wheel cleaners and here you come with a great solution for it! +10likes
i blow them dry for the most part it is the water that runs from the rotor vanes after your finished with the wash that ruins the wheels so you must give it time to drip then clean the barrels as i show if you blow dirty water your causing more of a mess on gloss black
Question...My American Force wheels on my truck have a few faint scratches from improper cleaning (bad detailer). What is the best way to polish the scratched out? My wheels are black.
What is the easiest and most efficient way to clean perforated leather seats??. I found a few videos but they all just really wipe clean seats. I would like a few tips on how to clean dirty/filthy seats with clogged holes, etc. Thanks!.
because RU-vid is blocking content through their algorithm from a majority of creators on purpose to push their bias content and not pay creators. it is affecting even the largest channels and quite pathetic and biased which I am glad I only do this for fun and not my income like most. thanks for watching and enjoying the content
@@autofanaticcars that’s a damn shame! Well I enjoy your content a lot. I can always appreciate someone who doesn’t take shortcuts! My father taught me the same lessons growing up.
hey af whats up man i just bought ur wheel foam and 007 gloss shine also ik9 foamer i gotta a question how much wheel cleaner do u put in the ik9 foamer to water
Thanks for this! My wheels are fast rennens black. A lot of tight spots to get into. Trying to decide which one to buy. Have you tried adams polishes wheel brushes?
Ugh I really need to get into DIY car cleaning. And buy ur wheel cleaner, it seems so fun. But I'm a lazy and brokecollege student. Soon enough I'll become a weekend warrior.
Any tips for protecting a new set of powder coated wheels? I'm planning on getting a set of vorsteiner vff 107's for my summer wheels and having them powder coated. I'm in Washington and drive 600-700 miles a week in mixed traffic, so they'll see plenty of brake dust & road grime.
What tricks do you have for multi-piece wheels that have flares on the barrel and the joint that the spokes of the wheel bolt/weld to, that make accessing the whole barrel difficult?
use the wheel woolie, get a heat gun and manipulate the arm to work for your rims, i do it all the time for my custom Forgeline 3 piece wheels on my pro touring Mustang
I just bought my BMW 430i and want to keep my wheels in prestine condition. I am interested in the woollywormit but prefer one with a handle. How do I either purchase one from you or how do I add one to my future woolly?
Hi i made 30 of these a while back it is just too much fabrication work to keep doing them. you should pick up the brush and try it as it comes, adding a handle is not that easy
Hey af my man wow i just received the 007 gloss spray holy shit my man you fucking nailed it my white jeep overland looks outstanding ive used bead maker,v07,gtechniqe and let me tell you nothing can evwn compare wow and the windows holy come out streak free same with my black polished wheels this shit is just a life saver man just thought id tell ya great product and thank u for making it!!!!
try contacting the manufacture direct, Amazon sold hundreds off my video i guess they are waiting for new stock to come in which will eventually happen
I have a black GT350 and my son has a Magnetic. The car looks great in either color. Mine underwent 6 hours of paint correction followed by Modesta coating. After three years it looks better than new.
Awesome. Been a long time subscriber and and I can’t be the only one waiting for a proper tool box tour! Haha. I think us gear addicts will appreciate it. Keep the good content coming!
all my brushes were custom made and fabricated by me, handles i bought at a local Grainger but you need to machine the ends to fit and its not something DIY can do.
Thanks for the video. I just recently got a bunch of detailing products (almost got the woolie wormit). I too have black wheels that came on my Type R. They are sooo hard to keep clean. These tips should help. What do you protect the wheels with? I recently got some Wheel Guard Max Coat and Wheel Guard Wax from CG but am now thinking that won't repel the dust too well.
@@autofanaticcars Does it help repel the dust? I have some ArmorAll Brake Repellent spray but I think it leaves a light blue colored residue on the wheels. It can easily be wiped off though. The spray did seem to help keep the dust from sticking.
yes from my shop but it was a PITA to cast it to the brush because of the tang being so small but i made it work with some reengineering of the brush body
@@autofanaticcars I do like the looks of the wormit. I'm a Design Engineer and have access to a 3d printer i could probably print out a handle. i sent you an email to your yahoo account, i printed a holder for my MTM foam cannon, thing is always falling over.....
Great vid, I'm definitely getting one of the Wooly Wormit brushes. Anything that makes cleaning wheels easier for me is a no brainer, I hate cleaning wheels so the better I get at it and the easier it is the less I hate it! I already rinse with DI water and I can see me going down the route of blow drying too now I'm getting older, it just saves my poor old knees and shoulders 👍
it was a PITA to do what I did not sure what i would even charge to do these for you guys. I am working on a bunch of cool handles for wheel brushes as we speak il be showing the finished designs soon in a full video and offer them in the web store
its a good brush but i just do not trust it on gloss black if you are as much as a "fanatic" as i am plus getting hit in the face and arms sucks using it.
