Some survivors may be unable to transfer themselves from bed to wheelchair. This video will demonstrate step-by-step transfer where minimal assistance from the caregiver or family member is required.
Jesus is the only way to healing, restoration and salvation to all souls. Please turn to him and he will change your life, depression into delight, soul heading from hell to heaven all because of what he did on the cross “Whoever calls upon the name of the Lord shall be saved” Romans 10:13
this is only if a survivor can stand like that, the problem that we are seeking to solve is when a survivor can't even stand his/her body straight, becoming (as hard as it can sound) a "deadweight" hurting your back when you carry him/her
That is also our challenge at present. My mother is 83 kls. Shes a real dead weight. My sister and I and sometimes only 1 who wl transfer our mother from bed t wheelchair/ vice versa
If you are able to sit them up on the edge of the bed, look into a transfer board. You’ll use the gait belt to simply slide them from one surface to the other. I prefer the curved ones, personally. While your at it, get a slip sheet. They are awesome for repositioning in the bed. One person can easily slide them back up the bed.
Bed to wheelchair is easier then wheelchair to bed especially if the patient cant use their legs at all and no lift is available. Need more examples of that,
