This will be my second Forest camping in Maplewoods and I highly recommend it! It's right off the main street vendors in the campgrounds and completely under trees in the shade, close to the RV parties and entrance, bathrooms and showers. After doing GA twice I'll never go back, I loved the party of GA but I like how Maplewoods guarantees a close spot and all the extras :)
This in my fifth year going and second going good life. Let me tell you it’s absolutely worth it if you can swing it!! I’ll never go back to camping in GA. You still have access to all the areas in GA, no lines to get in to the festival gates basically..but the showers and bathrooms made it all worth it for me. I only showered once, but that shower brought me back to life!! See you this year fam ✌🏻😽
@@mariaeg123yes girl! I love it. I'm so happy you have something to bring now!! That's so cute. I think I will have a totem that looks like a meatball and/or 3D juul totem! if you see it come say hi.
The hype is real!! Was that robot thing there last year?! I totally missed it!! Lol I missed the RV parties last year too and am def making it a point this year. ESPECIALLY Panky Rang Renegades!! I’ve heard theirs is incredible. Hope you have a great time!!
Good Life camping is 100% worth it. No lines, relaxed security, nice bathrooms (this alone makes vip worth it), free showers, after parties 24/7, golf carts drive you anywhere you want, shuttle service, free water park admission, free happy hour at the vip bars, etc. i can never go back to GA lol. i wouldn't recommend back 40 lodges though, too expensive and too secluded. Electric Forest is the only fest that i pay for VIP. Also, String Cheese & Bassnectar. 1000%
I'm a newbie. So is group camping all tents right? If we have over 20 people can we purchase this ahead of time or is this at the time we all check in together as a group to confirm we have over 20 people (not sure how everyone will arrive at same time due to traffic)?
the best part about group camping is you can all arrive separately and you'll still camp together! it's regular old tent camping, but they reserve a larger plot of land big enough to fit your group ahead of time. you purchase this as an add on to your ticket. will probably go on sale in January. I am going to be posting a video next week getting into every detail of group camping. subscribe so you know when it's up! :)
no shortcuts unless you are in the good life (VIP) area which lets you enter in the forest or next to ranch arena. GA has one entrance next to the mainstreet vendors and group camping
Good life is amazing I will never not do good life we have 24 hour shuttle bus to ga we can use both pools free drinks every day free food ac bathrooms free showers door viewing areas in the forest and camped right next to the stage entrances and golf cart rides 😂
I just got back from EF and had quite an amazing experience! But I’m definitely gonna take these tips for next year!! Did you see Bassnectar or Alison Wonderland?
love me some big g, the floozies, etc. don't listen to any true jam bands in my free time. still enjoy it though! just not educated enough to speak on them in this video. thanks for watching the whole thing! x
I’m so nervous, because I went to EDC Orlando! But, this whole camping deal is the issue. Was planning to stay at a place for Airbnb, yet you said traffic is crazy. Like, need some advice the way to go on in my situation. I’m coming from FLORIDA keep in mind. I use to do VIP all the time but thank you so much on the video advice on your experience. Hopefully anyone can give some souls ones in this comment !! 🤘🎭
i highly recommend camping. in my opinion, electric forest is all about camping. you can do easy camping where everything is already set up for you or you can order items for pick up ahead of time at walmart. rothbury is a village/township so there is not a lot around as far as hotels. it totally possible but i am pretty biased that you have to do camping to fully experience.
Ashley Gauthier - Festival Vlogger thank you so much 😊 I’ll take your word for it ! Hope to see you at 2020 ! If you find me I’ll be wearing a Master CHEIF helmet I’ll stand out pretty well. You deserve candy if I ever meet ya. Bless your soul 🤧
@@omeronunez8996 TBH I've never used the real showers there. all I know is that they are $10 and they're in a trailer. I believe everyone gets a stall because none of my friends have ever mentioned not being given privacy
Camp, trust me. If you do an Airbnb you miss like 50% of the shenanigans that go on in the campgrounds. Look up solar showers on amazon as well, super helpful if you don’t wanna pay for showers
Great video! thanks for making it. One quick correction, the camp you're placed at is totally random. You might arrive right at midnight and be in blueberry, or you might get there 8 hours later and get placed right next to the entrance. They do it this way so that there isn't a mad rush and long lines at midnight because there's no way for people to predict where their camp site will be. If I see you at forest I'll say hi! happy forest :)
awesome!! thanks for the correction!! group camping, tent camping, etc. is really the only way you’ll know for sure you’ll get a good spot huh! definitely say hi if you see me around i’d love that!!! how did you find my video btw?
@@ashleygauthierr I'm too excited for forest so I filterd an "electric forest 2018" search down to last week lol. I need help ahah. Your videos are great! Keep it up.
Ashley Gauthier - Festival Vlogger yo good for you! It was such a fresh take on doing forest after so many years of GA, it’s so amazing. Ironically after saying I’m never doing GA again I ended up with a maplewoods ticket this year which I’m honestly stoked about it will be a whole new way to experience the fest.
Hey so, I’m planning to camp there an I may Uber or ride the shuttle bus there. Do I still need to pay the 1 person fee or that’s only if I brought my car there ?? Just need to know what I’m getting myself into! My only issue is getting there which need to know
@@omeronunez8996 The single rider fee is to try and reduce carbon footprints, so it would only be if you drove in alone. However, I have literally never seen or heard of it enforced. You should be good no matter what.
