I got rejected pre-interview applying to Cambridge medicine this year. I absolutely love the course and the split between pre-clinical and clinical years - do you think I should reapply considering I get 3A*s in my a level subjects biology, chemistry and psychology? Is it worth picking up either maths or physics as a fourth a level during a gap year as Cambridge prefers 3 science subjects and psychology isn’t considered one. I'm sorry to hear you were rejected. You can definitely consider reapplying in a gap year. However, please remember that it is still hard to get into Cambridge so it is good to have a backup plan too and apply to other universities or courses. Picking up maths/physics sounds like a good idea - but you could think about doing other things too like more work experience / a job Thank you for your kind words too! Wishing you all the best :)
