Hey there, if you have an ultrasonic you want to put the items IN the basket, then put the basket INTO the ultrasonic before cleaning it. The vibrations from the items hitting the metal in the ultrasonic damages it in the long run. That's what the basket is for.

Vodka would be best, and I think ISO alcohol is ok as long as you wash it off good with water, and I wouldn't soak them in pure alcohol or disinfectant, definitely dilute it with water
