Just discovering this video now. Really excellent play, but maybe even more impressive is that you are able to maintain it while providing such an high level of commentary. That's a whole other skill in itself, and very few people on RU-vid or twitch do it as well as you did here. Will definitely be subscribing to the channel and following you on Twitch. Looking forward to seeing more.
awesome video, i consider myself above average and I'm always looking to learn from better players. thanks for sharin! also do you have any tips on winning those 1v1s where people strafe really well? is there a way to work on predicting?
I learned a lot from watching this video, like you just lay it out simple and clean. like you explained a lot of the things I've been seeing when I started (just started 3 days ago), and this helped my game a lot. like no joke.
Abrijahrdin My question is why is she playing vs level 1 and level 2 players. People who played for an hour or two. If she did the same thing vs competitive players or at the very least players who have played the game as long as her this video would be very different and would actually be practical. But showing gameplay of owning players who likely don't even know the map, the movement system and so on, and ravaging their clueless asses, I really have to ask what the point is. Showing how to aim at the worst players in the game makes zero sense considering people will move better, faster and aim better when they have played the game for more than 2 hours.
:) Basically try to shoot from a position from which you are harder to be seen and be shooted back, either on the same ground level, protected by a corner, or from above or below ground. Always be shooting from the hip, whilst in close range, cos raising the gun will make you to stand still or at least move slower, turning you in a seating duck, use accuracy aiming only from a considerable distance and the target is either standing still or is not looking at you. Finaly, the one who's shooting first has the first chance to win.
Still one of the best videos to date for DB with constant talking through of your playstyle - watched several times, great priorities. You don't play DB still then, huh?
This is absolutely one of the best informational vids on how to get better on an fps ive seen, and to do it mid stream too in real time, excellent. Sometimes I am the bottom of the team in score, kills and deaths and feel like a scrub, sometimes i feel as if by magic i am in the zone and get things right, after watching this i realise i sometimes get it perfect by pro standards and sometimes play like a scrubtard. hopefully i can learn to play good all the time, this has helped greatly
Great video, just wanted to say that I'm staying near the top of my leaderboard. Before, it was almost exclusively from playing the objective, and I wouldn't even pay attention to the enemies that were right in front of me. Now, those points are from playing cautiously and following most of these tips. Thanks for the help!
I'm a Battlefield player, but lately I've been playing Dirty Bomb exclusively. I usually tend to hover around the top of the leaderboard, but as my levels increase, so does the lethality of my opponents, and I tend to become relatively worse. I watched this video, hopped into a match and tried to apply what I'd learned. And holy shit, I slaughtered any and all opposition, including 1v1-ing Rhinos as a Proxy (KE53, no shotguns) in CQC. This video helps! Thanks a lot, I'm a better player now.
Little tip, even if you are defending the ev properly, Always disable that apc, at least if your team looses positioning, you have the high ground while they have to repair it
Right, so I got into Dirty Bomb because I heard you were casting one of the cups and wanted to check it out. And then, just a minute ago you were actually in the same game as me :D Well that's my day made! I hope you'll be commentating on more tournaments, you've got to be one of the best casters out there haha.
ET migration begins! Its like what we thought Brink was going to be, finally found a new home. Love how most of the V_say commands are pretty much the same. Need V6 back though.
Hey pansy, more of this dirty bomb stuff would be cool. Main reason I subscribed actually, I owe a fair bit of my success in getting better (almost good even) at this game to your advice and appropriating it for myself with my own little twists.
If you have your Mouse2 set to crouch, what are you using to iron sight then? And how are you switching between knife and primary weapon? The mouse scroll and pressing 1 both seem awkward if you come across an enemy while knife is out.
Hey, you don't often see girls that know their subject when it comes to good level of play. It's refreshing to see someone that knows how to do his thing.
Do you know if ironsighting actually gives an accuracy bonus? I've replaced my ironsight with an alias to toggle my FOV up and down, am I gimping myself compared to ironsighting?
sawbones or sparks? i like the idea of inf range snipes with inf ammo and inf range revives but im not sure because he has 30 more hp and his rifles probably do a fair bit more dmg then her smg's not that i wouldn't be using the revive gun more anyway.
Played against you yesterday and had no clue who you were, but a friend of mine noted that I was headshotting someone he watches on Twitch and is pretty good. :)
What is your Steam name, Pansy? I would love to be able to get tips and tricks from you because at the moment, I'm not the greatest at this game, and I was hoping to try and enter the competitive scheme.
Chase H honestly im very impartial to secondary weapons.. i would say look at draw times of the weapons, the tolen is better but does less damage so, if you find you are running out of ammo and the opponent still has lots of health go for the longer draw time but with more damage aka - MP400 if not Tolen :)
Btw, what should be my second Merc that I should buy? I bought Proxy as my first merc, and enjoy the SMG loadout on her a lot. I'm considering saving up for Rhino as my second merc, but I'm not sure if there are better choices for that or not.
I can never understand how people go on unstoppable streaks. Probably because i lose most of my gunfights... I generally suck at gunfights. Ive tried to use lots of sensitivities, but none of them work for me. Im going to try using the sensitivity you suggested in this video next time i play. Thx for the tips!
+BlubberyDuck just play smart, try to predict what they are going to do (and be ready for it). as you could see she was always thinking of whats coming. like the spawn timer, meaning players have spawned and should be close to her, or the ones backing off due to reloading or low Hp. playing smart will help you to know when to push, stay put or fall back. the rest comes down to aim, reactions and the person your against
+BlubberyDuck If you suck at (prolonged) gunfights, then don't do them. There are most of the time 2 combatzones; the straight up and accuracy gunfights and the flanks. Just flank with shotgunproxy, run up to the back of the opponents and pop their heads while they're distracted. Maybe even chuck a mine and shoot it if they're clumped up. Boom, insta-quadkill.
Stu Pidface just to ensure you are actually hitting the shot. Crouching and using iron sights actually ensure you will hit the shot, hip fire is slightly less consistent and crouching does increase accuracy. Its more to make sure im actually able to see far enough.
+Fasmer :) That's one of the major Proxy's ace up in her sleeve. Be careful though that you have to have at least three seconds before the enemies are spoting you, cos if you get shot while trying to do so, the tossing will be canceled and you'll end up dead.
Sorry i have no idea what game is this can u tell me? im a cs go player and i was trying to look for u and found this video, and i quite enjoy watching you play i wanna play it can someone tell me the name?
Your aim won't improve by using someone elses sens. Figure out what sens is comfy for you. Playing a lot of Battlefield 4 before getting into Dirtybomb again I suggest you put the sens to like say 20 for example. Play around for an hour or two. If its too high for you you can lower it by 1 or 2 really depends how much too high it is if that makes sens. If you find a sens you are somewhat comfortable with lower it again by 1 and play with it for a day because the chosen sensitivity might still be a lil bit too high. If not put it back to where you liked it (+1 basically). Thats how you should be able to figure out your sens for almost every FPS except CS. Sensitivity is a bit more difficult to figure out in CS.
Dynnen for me its Mouse4 (Side Mouse buttons) I also use it because it means i dont add extra pressure to "holding down" Mouse2 while trying to track and just makes me grip slightly harder on the mouse.
PleasecallmePansy so what do you use right mouse button for then? :-) Oh, nvm, I overheard it at the beginning. Awesome vid btw :-) I'd still like to know what button u use for skills and fast melee atk, mind sharing? ty
One more thing my mouse changed the axis y for the x and now i move the mouse up the pointer goest to the right, i move the mouse down the pointer goes to the left, i move the mouse to the left the pointer goes up and if i move the mouse to the right the pointer goes down. Please help me ive tried in different computers and the problem mantained. Oh by the way my mouse is a Mitsai R500, Its little blue mouse tht is hoorible to play with cuz my hand is almost twice its size. >=O
:) Back then,(June 2015), people were so damn passive, you just could be waltzing on the maps for easy targets. Why they aren't showing Dirty Bomb present time videos!? Because it would be way harder to look as experts, that's why.
+The Loyal Tenno Loki :) The low levels wouldn't count so much it would be the "spectate" option, just as DOTA 2 has. Newbies will learn a lot , greater players would be famous, cheaters will be revealed, would be less and less unbalanced matches, a plague of this game that's trowing so many people away, and the game will gain a huge mass-appeal. It will be much more useful than twich or youtube, you could see through all of the players cameras, both blue and red ones.
