Tips on how to fight and land bigger trout 

Big browns can be tough to land, it could be anything from the rod not quite protecting the tippet good enough, bad spool of tippet or depending on the size of the fly. Super small flies don’t have much hook to hold a fish, so sometimes a bigger fish on a tiny fly if they aren’t hooked just right they’ll come off if, as far as breaking them off it could be their teeth cutting the tippet when they head shake, tail hitting the tippet. There are multiple things that could happen with a big brown on small flies and tippet. But something that could help is maybe find what angles lead the fish the best and which angles keep it from shaking its head as much, and keep the rod in those positions the whole time, and don’t make drastic changes when fighting fish, adjusting rod angles is helpful, but overdoing it or adjusting them faster than usual could cause the hook to come out
