Looking at the first clip of this cookie, I thought it was either a toilet, or an angled version of Ms Frizzle's head... I would NEVER have guessed it was a grill with fire. This is amaaaaazing and so cute!!
This cookie is like one of those "What is this" cutters that people have to guess the shape. Very cute outcome, but I had NO idea what it was until almost the end.
these cookies are so CUTE!!!!!!! also I don’t personally decorate cookies, but you’re very knowledgeable and I appreciate how much you share about your process so I always really enjoy watching these educational videos you post!! one day I’ll try out cookie decorating and I’m glad I’ll have some of these techniques in my back pocket to use!!
I’m not really particular either way. I add corn syrup for the softer bite and it just happens to make it a little shinier, however I’m not sad if they turn out more matte.
I thought this was a duck at first, no it's not a duck. Then I thought it was a stroller, no it's not a stroller. Turns out it's a barbeque grill. Good night. 🤦🏾♀️
I wouldn’t, cold can cause condensation when the cookie/icing comes back to room temp. There’s a whole process to freezing/thawing cookies with royal icing. I would use the methods mentioned in this video - fan, dehydrator or oven to help dry the icing.
I love your work, and it looks amazing and idk if this is rude but it totally looks like your cookies could be in one of those text to speech Reddit story videos 🫶
I was so certain it was gepetto literally until the tire and I don’t know what I thought the red thing was *the red thing with the black dots, I thought the top one was a hat
Not for a second until you put fire could i figure out what this was. I thought it was gonna be a big ol marg with a little umbrella and limes spilling out
Top tip you can use golden syrup instead corn syrup. And in my opinion in drys just a little but shinner. However if you want true (or as true as you can get) white icicing stick to corn syrup as golden gives it a little hew that's not quite white!
@@southstreetcookies Agreed!! I actually love the love of mat icing. However when I do ordered I get asked for shiny all the time. It's a preference thing I find :)
