A lot of people are in a dilemma on wether to move ahead in a long distance relationship with someone they love or just give up. Most of the time, its because they aren't sur if they can cope or have the tools to make it work. Well, we were in a long distant relationship for years and we want to give you some of the tips that worked for us.

I was in a long distance relationship for a year, hehehe I was In school ,he was always working. What helped us sustain the relationship was understanding basically,we both knew our schedules and that helped a lot,so we spoke every morning and at night so no one gets angry about not speaking during the day, cus we were both busy. Your tips are helpful as well ☺️

This was so helpful watching a couple such as you guys talking about forgiveness love working hard to maintain it I'm in America and he's in Gambia and that's exactly what we doing is keeping busy so we won't get distracted but I meant it is hard because you missed the physical touch the hug when you feeling down just being around that person but I'll see him in the next 3 months it's been so far 3 months away and it's been hard but we love each other and we keep on pushing through pushing forward thank you

OMGODdess!! Its challenging on many levels. We are just 5 months into this LDR, Im in America, he is in Kenya, we have set our end date, that is what keeps me going. Technology has been good for US. Communication is strong on both our parts, it is limited funding and his work that challenges us. Visualize the date when we are on the physical aspect of our relationship keeps me energized. We have not sactioned our engagement as of yet. We are still feeling our way with each other. He is so lovingly patient and supportive. It brings out the best in me. I trigger his creativity in the best of ways. I love the direction our relationship is growing. 9 more months to grow, this is equal to a pregnancy for me, I had three children, so I know, how to manage independently. Thanks for sharing. I wish you both much happiness.

I’m in Texas and he’s in Arizona… so yeah same country, but still so many miles between us. And he is getting his life together after a lot of problems. Me too tbh… we want to be together asap, but we realistically can’t know when the next time will be. Thankfully, we know we will see each other again within a few months, but being together permanently is still something we aren’t quite able to determine yet.

I'm in LDR for 1 year and 3 months, everything was going so great, full of love, care, and support, she was having hard times, but I supported her, she came to meet me, met my parents, they liked her a lot, then I went to her in the Czech Republic, met her parents, they liked me really a lot, had amazing times, then our parents talked together, and said we want this relationship to work and everything. When she started work in bank, she changed behavior totally, behaves very distant, coldly, and also told me "I started to like you less, thinking about breaking up with you" and last days she ignores my messages :// it hurts a lot, my room is all with her photos, and her room with my photos and together :/
