Describe the effect of angle correction on measured velocities with Doppler US
List and obtain the key measurements for detection of transjugular intrahepatic portosystemic shunt (TIPS) stents
Assess every angle corrected velocity measurements for accuracy

Improper angle correction is…Misleading at best...Results in patient harm at worst
Properly corrected angle less than 30 or greater than 60 is better that any improperly corrected angle
Accurately angle correct no matter the angle
Thoroughly evaluate the distal TIPS
Increase you color scale to detect true aliasing
