Smart Drive Test I’ll head on over! I took mine in western Iowa and it seemed like a very modified version of what I’ve been seeing. Maybe because of Covid? It seemed like a regular road test but shorter. There was also a particular emphasis on slow speed maneuvers (we spent longer on these than the rest of the test!!!)

I just wanna say you helped me so much! I have really bad anxiety and ptsd, some of it has to do with being in a car so I was a wreck. I failed my test twice at 27 years old! The day of my third test I was so nervous I was shaking. I was browsing RU-vid for tips and I found your videos. I truly believe they are the reason I passed! I watched several before I went to my test and I only messed up on one minor thing! I was so happy I couldn't contain myself, it was like a huge weight had been lifted. Passed mine, barely. Practiced hard and studied, one thing I found hard to get a answer on, if your turning right at a stop sign pull close to the curb even if you think it's a one lane. "Yes I over thought that", and 2 if you get a yellow light, don't throw your instructor to make sure you don't run a red. I've seen numerous places say yellow means the same as red on a road test. But take that with a grain of salt. It almost failed me. My instructor with the deepest mean voice said DO NOT DO THAT, and from that point forward I thought I failed. Either way don't over think it and good luck.

No, it wouldn't be a fault if you'd waited. Saying that, it's up to the discretion of the examiner. Some will want you to push through the intersection...especially in the bigger cities. One of the skills that you'll have to get comfortable with when learning to drive is doing a left turn on a yellow light. 0:25 I wonder in this situation when the light turns yellow and you already cross the front crosswalk line, I will need to wait and see if the upcoming car not running the yellow/red light. in my opinion not all speed limits should require you to be exact with the speed limit.. if it's little under at times that's fine.. cause 50km is a little fast on roads if your trying to always match that speed.

Hello Rick. I just have two questions regarding the road rules in BC, Canada, for the purposes of passing the road test, hoping you could answer! 1. In a scenario where you arrive at a 4 way stop sign intersection. You have the intention of moving straight. A car that is in your opposite lane arrives first, and is signaling to turn right. You see there are no cars on your left or right. Should you wait for the car to finish turning right first before you start moving forward 2. Similar to the previous scenario. However, this time the car opposite from you is moving forward (no indication of turning left or right). Should I wait for the car pass me before I start moving forward, or am I allowed to move forward if I do not see any cars on the left or right side? Apologies for the long comment, hope you could clear these up for me. Thank you very much sir!

After you reverse/forward/parallel park, do you 1) Put in park then apply the parking brake OR 2) Apply the parking brake then put in park What happens if u dun/forget to pull your parking brake?
I plan to take my test on this Saturday coming up I hope I can do it I did my practice 10 hour with the driving school that's kinda help a bit and also today I practiced for parallel parking on the front of my house with my hubby teaching me I was so confused at the beginning because everybody have different way to teach but I ended up doing good after but I will try to keep practicing until the test day!! So hopefully I can pass but if not I still gonna keep trying before my d dua date lol because I'm 7 month pregnant 🤰 and I want to get my driver's license before my baby!!

I don't have anybody to help me take my test, my father is always working, and my sisters are as well. and my closest friend have all moved away. I went today to take it and didn't know I needed a licensed driver to accompany me lol. I felt so dumb, and the employee just made me feel worse. Should I contact a driving school? I am almost 30 years old and still haven't received my license, I just feel behind in life and the anxiety I feel when going to do these things has always been overbearing, but lately I am trying to break out of that shell.
Failed my license test once already and i have my next test in a week im so nervous...ive been practicing alot and reviewing all the road laws.. but im scared i will not remember something during my test 😭

my instructor refused to test me because o stoped at a green light because there was in-coming traffic. i stopped and waited it was clear to go. If it was a green arrow, i would have gone immediately. ii’m so sad
so if i choose to stay and wait for the green light Do i need to be in the bike lane or stay in the right lane? This is one of the questions I am very concerned about on my test

HII PLEASE HELP I HAVE MY ROAD TEST NEXT WEEK :-) Can you cross the white solid line to enter the left turning lane if there’s only a small gap in the line ?? I feel like you should be able to because what if there was cars lined up in the right lane blocking that entrance gap in

If i wanna keep my eyes on the road at all times and keep my speed check 8 to 10 seconds how do i look over my shoulder to get over with my left or right turn signal and jeeping my eyes on the road. I live in kentucky

Can you explain how to turn left on an intersection that comes up as you exit the freeway? I’ve heard that if the light is green you can just turn left. I’m still confused.
@@smartdrivetest Not specifically, but I think I cleared it up with my mom. Basically, just to confirm, there is no need to yield to oncoming traffic when turning left at the intersection that you come upon right after exiting a given freeway, because there is no oncoming traffic to yield to since it is almost always a three-way road? I hope I am making sense.

so at around 2:10 when turning right at the intersection with a yield, if no pedestrians are present its not necessary to stop before the crosswalk? i ask because ive seen it done before and also not done, so im confused

I just passed the test (it’s really not as bad as you think). I was in the same shoes as a lot of people frantically searching for how to pass and what not to do and blah blah, and I passed with a 96 or something. Dont over-stress yourself. Be confident (not stupid) and just appear in control the whole time. Also use your manners because the person testing you has the power to fail you at any point. YOU GOT THIS! That is fantastic! I avoided driving for years because I was terrified of driving and didn't want to hurt people. Now, I'm practicing, and plan on scheduling my test in September.
I have worked in academia most of entire long career, now close to retirement. To state what should be obvious to society (e.g., voters), there are serious pedagogical and other problems with so many people failing driven tests. It makes no sense that the best and brightest among us are in fact so weak that they mostly fail a simple driven test despite strong results on theory tests. I am seeing a lot of medical and biomedical students failing driven tests who have strong grades in all subjects, including many that require strong ability in implementing complex procedures under stress. In my domain, if this many students failed, the administration would be failing me, not the students. Consider another perspective. The examiner failed you repeatedly, implying you are so dangerous that you should not be allowed to drive. You are then told you need to do a lot more driving to gain experience. This is often false. We know this because examiners say the same exact thing to drivers, including other examiners, with decades of experience. Some have more experience and qualifications than the examiners. This all points to badly designed education and tests, which voters should demand get fixed.
