Love how you give respect to Jason and the work he put in while promoting an alternative in a respectful way. We've caught a lot of fish on Jason's jigs. I still have a bunch and I still use them but sparingly because I don't want to loose them and they represent some great memories. Mostly fish a modified dropper with a sesworx hook these days. I know these new jigs kill it though too and they're battle tested in the meca. Tight lines brother hope you're well
Your getting the slabs that day Para. Fiddlers are the go to bait. Tried shrimp, clam, live minnows but if you want the stripes, you gotta have the crabs. Going up there from Vilano is a long ride. Maybe I can talk my bud into it. Great Day
Very nice rod and reel combo! Love it! Since you like high end it looks like. When you ready to try something different. Put your hand on the new Daiwa Steez rod and reel combo. Totally different ball game in my opinion. I have the GLX, NRX, and Conquest and after owning the Daiwa Steez. I give them respect. But thanks for the tips!
