Enjoy the show every week! You guys got me into trolling. Then tried some cranks for experimenting and caught biggest fish on cranks over jigs So then I started buying cranks 😅absolutely love it! Wife and son do as well. Nobody around here drags cranks for crappie. Catch at least a handful every time we go on Lake Hickory or Lake Rhodhiss! Best producer is a baby bluegill. I've had some success long lining even when fish are set up fairly tight on structure in the dead of summer and during the fall doldrums. The trick is to troll right over a line of different brush piles. Kind of like connecting the dots. Yes, you'll lose some jigs. But if you have trouble staying on the structure, have beginners with you, or just plain like long-lining it'll work. It's a great way to find new piles as well.
