Hello Katie !!! I'm not a teacher, I'm am just sharing with you My School Student experiences from when I was a young autistic school student. Yes, art was My Favorite Special or Elective Class because it served more as therapy for me to help me cope with being away from what I enjoyed at home and to get my mind off of whatever drained me and stressed me out at school that I had to deal with. By the way, if no one tells you or gets to tell you that you look pretty then I am going to say it especially now that I am an autistic stay at home son and My School Student days are decades behind me. Thank you for this great advice! It's so refreshing to know that I'm not alone in how I feel as an art teacher. Being the only art teacher at my school feels lonely and thankless at times, but you have such a wonderful, positive outlook that I appreciate very much! I have 10 more weeks of school left in this school year, and I'm definitely getting burnt out. Your video is timely and inspiring!
