My hair is growing waaaaay faster now that I’m consistently taking vitamins!!! I was drinking water, exercising, great diet, juicing and trimming. Now, I’m focusing on filling in my follicles. Ironically, I applied this two days ago, but I just found my notes of your recommendation this morning from two years ago 🤦🏽♀️: Castor Oil Rosemary Oil Peppermint Oil Lavender Oil Tea Tree Oil
@@Emp409 Initially, Garden of Life’s Vitamin Code for Women, but I needed more iron since I’m anemic. It then was too much iron with the iron that worked best for me, so: Ester-C (Vit. C) capsules 1000mg Nature’s Bounty probiotic 100 million Solgar’s Gentle Iron 25mg Solaray’s Vit. B1 100mg Garden of Life’s Vit. Code Raw D3 2,000 IU (50mg) Solgar’s Super High Potency Biotin 10,000 mcg
Thank you for addressing those who have "soft" hair. I think they're really underrepresented online and yet I know so many people (young and old) who have had their hair at the same chin/nape length all their lives!
As a type 4b/c woman, I do not understand someone having to moisturizer their hair 6-7 days of the week. Proper moisturizing during was day should last at minimum 3-4 days with a low manipulation style. I wear mini-twists most of the time and only remoisturize on wash day, which is weekly.
Would love to see a video covering coloring natural hair - what are the dangers or side effects for different textures, and how to repair color-treated hair specifically! Been learning a lot through your work!
Hi this is La Vern again. Thanks for the information you previously gave me. I now would like to know what shampoos, and conditioners I should be using on my hair also, should I be using a clarifying shampoo and how often? Also, how often should I wash hair ? Should I wash my hair more than once a week or should I go more than a week to wash it? I have dandruff what should I use? I cannot use sulfur that you talked about in a previous video because it weighs my hair down too much. The other thing is I read all the time to use leave in conditioner that doesn’t work for my hair either because it weighs it down my hair just looks stringy and straight especially because it’s very fine. So could you please give me a list of products that I would be able to use that are best. Okay my hair is Low porosity, C3 curl type, and fine hair.
High heat blow-drying, harsh chemical hair products, hair coloring and bleaching products, elastics/barrettes that bind hair too tightly, combing and brushing hair when wet or with rough force, poor diet, scalp dermatitis, and illness can weaken all types of hair and result in breakage. Know what the ingredients in your hair products and treatments do before putting them on your hair.
In this video you talk about putting protein in my hair can you give me some suggestions of what product to use, I have fine hair that is in the three range with low porosity?
Laawwd this is work but let's get it. Do you think a nano mist spray bottle with the leave in mixture and oil is helpful in moisturizing hair that's in cornrows or other protective styles? Because my natural hair isn't always out to limit breakage. So what do you recommend to be able to daily moisturize 4c hair in protective styles please thank you! 🙏
It's definitely recommended to keep your hair moisturized so that's great. A good rule of thumb is to leave a braided style in for less than 4 weeks and have a 2:1 rule for how long your hair is out of a protective style compared to how long its in one. For example, if you have a protective style for 4 weeks, then you should leave your hair out for 8 weeks
@@crystalaguhmd7333 Thank you so much for your response. I will be using braids styles for the next several months, and I want to use them in a way that is best for my hair. Thank you again!!!
Most protein treatments should be used AFTER shampooing though Olapex #3 (which is a strengthening treatment but not a protein treatment by the purest definition) instructs people to use it before shampooing the hair
Great question! This can be tough because many people have two curl patterns, but you should always tailor your routine to the tightest curl pattern you have. I think a good place to start is just to look up diagrams of different curl patterns lined up next to each other. I have one such picture in my book, but they can be found all over the internet
@@crystalaguhmd7333 my hair does it’s own thing and I have been struggling to make my hair grow. I can’t even past my shoulder lengths. It just snaps. I have tried every ingredient I can think off. My diet is ok and my exercise level is good. What would you recommend? I am trying onion juice now and I was wondering if that might work
@@anisasalah4483 have you gotten blood work done? I know a big part of my issue is my anemia 😩. My hair stayed same length for years not matter what I did. I’m working on getting my hemoglobin up and it’s helping. But im also trying to figure other tips to help retain length 😩seriously been just above my shoulders for 4 years. Vitamin D deficiency, hypothyroidism can also cause hair loss and issues. I’m sure there’s more that I’m not thinking of.
