Blair, thanks for covering all the different types. Most videos just cover one type of Kwikset. Mine was the lever handle with the allen screw. Very helpful and saved me from a loose handle and a maintenance call.

Mr.Gilbert I've always been a DIYer. I genuinely enjoy doing odd jobs or projects around the house. And ive always been the type to learn hands on, as I go. So I just wanted to say thank you for sharing your wealth of knowledge with the rest of us. It has been truly invaluable. (I mean I definitely didn't spend 20 minutes trying to wiggle around and loosen a seized or jammed "push pin" that actually turned out to be a small Allen set screw that backed out almost effortlessly. Nope. That didn't happen at allllll. Ahem... But IF I had done so, I'd probably say something like: "Mr.Hardware, sincerely, thank you for what you do. It is appreciated." -D

after waiting 4 days for maintenance to tighten my front door knob,. I decided to tighten the loose door knob myself. the problem was I didn't know how to get the plate off. Had an exterior Kwikset lock with loose screws. After watching this video, found that it was one of those with the arrows underneath the casing. Was able to tighten those screws, as well as lubricate the lock, thanks to this video. A+

Thank you! I just fixed our lever style door handle between kitchen and garage that was hanging loose because I couldn’t figure out how to get to the hidden screws! I used a safety pin to pop off the handles with the tiny hole. I was NEVER going to figure that out!!!!
