Great skiing. Line Choice: The zipper line is all people see today. Try to see the line of cross rut and onto the the back side of the mogul and make turns with less impact. Ski over moguls not around them in the rut AKA zipper line.
The info is there. The zipper line requires very active feet and legs, total motion used consistently. That is what he is showing and doing. The turns are finished through actively twisting the feet and legs, quite stable upper body facing down the hill. What is not referenced here is that the best way is to practice on the smooth then take it into the bumps.
Josh, what's your opinion about employing a blocking pole plant? I notice you never do that, yet famous mogul skiers like Joey Cordeau and Mike Hattrup use that pole plant technique. Also, if you look at the REI videos about this topic, the PSIA instructor says to employ this when off trail, bumps, crud... or whenever you want to really secure your stance.
