We just returned from WDW MNSSHP and we are definitely considering a HOTHS for next Halloween, so this video was very insightful. Love y’all’s perspective going into the Wish. We want to wait until they release longer itineraries for the Wish before going on her, but I have a hunch that I’ll really love all the “different” things about the ship. Can’t wait to see y’all’s vlogs 🎉

I had no idea jack and sally do a meet a greet, I’ve been wanting to meet them for years but never wanted to wait in the long lines at Disney world! Cannot wait!! 🎃🎃
Happy 5th anniversary! Every cruise is different, but they were on our last HOTHS cruise on the Wonder 😊 If you see them on the schedule in the app, make sure to get there early! And have a great time!
There wasn’t any cooking classes on the Wish. I missed that. Don’t expect treats at Cove Cafe, but drinks will probably be fall themed and I’m sure Halloween themed treats at Joyful treats. And they should definitely have special drinks. I suggest skipping drinks at dinners or brunch and try different ones from bars. Amazing ones, can’t wait for your vlogs. I liked the Wish more then I thought. Hoping they announce Treasure cruises this Tuesday
Is the Halloween theming like super scary, or like Disney/ kid appropriate scary? I’d expect with Disney that it’s not too spooky for the kids, but this will be our very first experience with any kind of Disney vacation so I’m excited but don’t want it to be too spooky.
Just found your channel, we are going on our first Disney Cruise and it will be Halloween on the High Seas on the Wish . We will also be celebrating my birthday. We are on the Wish September 15-18th

Not a ton, since we honeymooned in Hawaii! Almost 20 years ago 😳 Best advice is to enjoy it all, and don’t feel the need to do everything. Since it’s your honeymoon, focus on things you enjoy doing together. Also, try new things togetherness, new food, new experiences. Cruises offer so many “firsts” or new opportunities for everyone. We wish you both well and enjoy celebrating in October!
We’ve never done a 3 night HOTHS cruise, so unfortunately, I can’t give you a solid answer. You may want to ask your travel agent or call dcl guest services to ask. Wish we could help you more!

Not at all! Disney does a really good job, especially on the HOTHS cruises of not having it be creepy or scary. Although we didn’t prefer the Wish’s Halloween tree lighting, it’s more princess and storybook themed. The Halloween tree lighting on all the other ships feels a little bit more like Ichabod Crane spooky. Not scary at all, just a little more of the fun, spooky vibe vs princesses. Everything else is all very good and family friendly! Feel free to watch our Halloween cruise on the wish from this past year, and our Halloween cruise on the Wonder in 2022 to see the differences!

In that case, you don’t need internet to communicate with each other! All you need is the Disney Cruise Line navigator app. When you get on board, you connect to the ships free Wi-Fi and use the Navigator app built-in chat function. The free version of the Wi-Fi does not include Internet, it just provides the functionality for the Navigator app. When you check in at the port, a DCL cast member will give you instructions on how to connect to the ship’s free wifi, use the app, and how the chat feature works 😊
