I had a small fleet of straight trucks... doing home deliveries... moving... freight...etc...did it for around 20 years..I'm no pro like the Dr. is by any means... I just would do preventative maintenance..change brakes... other simple tasks and some times it would involve a tire change..Sunday afterhours road service isn't cheap..so I kept a couple of drive tires and steer tires in the garage for the trucks for emergency situations.. point of the story is ..one day I could not get the inside dual to break free from the hub and beat on it back and forth taking turns with other guys trying to get it broke loose... about that time the oldest mechanic was coming into work that evening and came over to where we were working on the truck ...was there 10 seconds and said ..run four or five of the lug nuts back onto the studs but don't tighten them all the way just barely snug with the rusty hub ...then he proceeded to say now..let the jack down put tire back in contact with the ground get in truck start it up and put it in reverse...soon as it dropped into reverse.. click..click...broke instantly loose...if it doesn't after going into reverse...drop in forward gear and just lightly roll forward..that little bit if weight and movement breaks them free... I haven't beat on a stuck rim since then .... works every time... The old timer was a retired metro bus mechanic of 40years ...Give it a try ...it works !!!

I did tire repair for 18 years. Split rims, 2 and 3 piece wheels. Tractor tires, automobiles, trucks, and big trucks. Changed every size tire from 4 in to 38 in. Liquid filled tires on tractors where they used calcium and had to use duck tape and pop cans to repair rust holes. It doesn't take a big guy to change tires either. I'm 5'7 and 145 lbs. Ten hours a day ,6 days a week. The hardest tire I've ever changed was a log skidder tire. I would like see you do a video changing one of those skidder tires.
@castkerosene5377

Agree with log skidder tire. I had to do one loose, which was extra bad, 18.4-34. I've also done a 3" tire, it was the guide wheel on a highway line painter.
