I 100% agree with you that tires are the number one most important thing that’s what gets your power to the ground to move

Liked and subbed. Seriously quality content!!! What a dream to have so many tires to compare! I just got a Metzler MC360 Mid-Hard and have been deep diving on tires for the last week. I hope it matches my riding profile.

Thanks for the compliment! I get great enjoyment out of exploring the uniqueness of each tire! Thanks for the sub!

I finally found someone that likes dirt bike tires as much as I do . I think I'm going to buy an extra set of wheels for my 2020 beta 300rr that is street legal. I have 2 teeth smaller gearing for the street and I run the shinko 505 hybrid/gummy 120 rear and a shinko 216 90/100-21 fatty gummy/hybrid on the front both with the tubliss system for dual sport riding and the rocky trails at my camp. The gummys are fantastic for street because they stick like glue in the roads! But it would be nice to switch my wheels with proper offroad gearing and normal size lighter tires like a IRC ve-33s 110/100-18 rear and a 80/100-21 bridgestone m-59 front when I want to do some faster offroad riding with my buddies .

Thanks Luis for sharing the thoughts and philosophy and insight. I've been watching your channel for awhile now. Great Work 👍 So much so that I have purchased some of your products to help with your passion.... as well as mine 😁 Do you have a tire changing rack that you can recommend ? Thanks

Kevin! Thank you for the compliment and the website order. I really appreciate your support. Great question about the tire changing tools. I should do a short video on what I use. Basically I use a basic stand - Tusk Portable Motorcycle Tire Changing Stand - The key is to attach it to a study work bench so you can apply leverage without the tire and stand moving. I have a heavy work table in my shop and I simply use large C clamps to clamp it down. The use 5X Motion Pro Tire levers and always use plenty to tire lube. I am going to try to do a short video on this. Thanks again for the order and I look forward to sharing more with you. Best Regards, Luis

@@2smoking.and.4stroking Luis, thanks again for your suggestion. Placed order on tie change stand. Questions while testing tires : Are you using Tubeless ll Moose HD Tube Question: What are your Go To front tires ? I've been running the Bridgestone M59. W/ Tubeless ll for years. ( All around and predictable ) 👍 I ride a 2012 KTM 350 EXC-F . Converted back to a XC -W + perfomance/ chassy mods. Resprung, Lowered suspension+ seat , re valved "plush". I look forward to your response. Kevin

@@kevindouglass5175 , Feel free to email me anytime - Let me see if can briefly answer your questions - For my Tire Fight Series, currently I am only testing rear tires so I keep the front to a single tire - Michelin starcross Medium 90/100-21. I almost exclusively run a mousse on the front wheel. My reason are the following - Tubliss at the front doesn't really add any value - the value of tubliss is you can run excessively low air pressures - sub 10psi - if you need to. At the front this is a mute point as sub 10psi at front only diminishes performance and will either roll off the rim or damage the rim - the added "traction" is not necessary or "useful" at the front. EXTRA heavy duty tubes are also a good option at the front - simple, effective and really good feel. So at the front - Mousse or EXtra Hd tube. The rear - for Tire Fight Testing I run a tube exclusively for an equal comparison - I run 10.5 psi for testing. Tubliss can be really good at the rear if set up properly - since I have 6 sets of wheels and don't want to mess with Tubliss set up - I am transitioning to Mousses at the rear as well (not for Tire Fight Testing - that will remain tubes). If I had a single bike and no spare wheels and NOT riding on the street - I would run Mousse at the front and Tubliss at the rear. If it was a plated bike I would just run EXTRA HD tubes (bridgestone or Michelin) - simple and effective. My go to front tire is a Michelin Starcross Medium or Soft - Medium for almost every application - soft in real mud or deep sand. They are both very good. The outstanding character of this front tire is that is is VERY predictable. There is nothing wrong with a M59 front - good all around tire. Try a starcross if you can. If you describe what type of terrain you are riding - I can suggest a rear tire. Thanks again.

Talking on front and rear serving different purposes, I’m exploring the idea of the Christini AWD. It’s obvious to me that you’re significantly more knowledgeable in this subject than I. That said, I’d love to hear any thoughts you might have about front tire choice, if a portion of available drive were supplied to it. Thank you

That is a great question! I do know all modern tires for racing off road motorcycles are designed to be non-driven. The design of a tire that applies a driving force to the ground is very different than one that gets primary driven by the ground. I would imagine a wider 100/90 tire would have more mechanic engagement than a narrower 90 or 80. Post a link to your Christini if you can!
