Can't wait for the written guide on this. Been trying to figure out the most interesting way to make Musket work and I'd not even considered Abyss great axe. This looks like so much fun!
Great idea! Reaping people with bomb is big, and a great combo like you said. You can also really finesse people and reap people into traps. The lifesteal is wild.
I think a musket/rapier build with the mechanic could be a fun time! I like the idea of locking someone in place with a trap and going to town on em with a rapier. All that lifesteal and constant damage seems like a fun time! Probably not better than running musket/rapier with finisher, but we'll see!
Hitting a trapped target heals for 100% dmg + ankh thats 135 and if you use leeching and lifesteal thats even more, think those are multiplicative with ankh soo...
been playing/maining this Day1 of expansion - currently running 100 con 25 st 25 foc 450 int - all health/enchanted ward/void harnessing featherweight & endlessthirst- refreshing charge on abyss - accel traps (for bleed)/attune/vicious on wep. i run charge/mael/reap & double trap/nade/Pburn. IMO having run this for ages, ive found maelstrom is too strong to give up for execute in arena atm. Prefered combo is land the two shots ( PBurn into dodge reload ) then charge in. Attempt to trap-nade-trap, then heavy into mael. Then use reap or charge (already off CD) or use your two shots again from musket. 90% of the time I top dmg in arenas with the exception of BB/FS cause that shit is dumb atm.
