Wonderful. The Kinks' song is one of their best, and having the creative genius Lee Hazelwood and his frequent musical collaborator, the great Nancy Sinatra, cover it is just a dream.
While I love Nancy and Lee, I am also a pretty big Kinks fan, and was not expecting too much from this, but it's quite good. They do it with their own take on it. Nicely done!
They should have left "Love Is Strange" alone, but this is great. To bad it wasn't on the lp, back then only so much could be put on a record. I'm going to get the new reissue LP which has these bonus tracks. One of the best LPS of the 60s.
