Thanks for the review. For anyone interested, Amazon has a sample packet with I think 4 of the deepest shades for $1.50. Unfortunately 43N didn't work for me and the other shades were WAY too dark, I liked the product but they need more shades after 43N and the next deepest shade.
Hey Nalini! You definitely have skills in making foundation work because your complete look was really pretty. I purchased this foundation back in June and did not like it. I purchased the same shade as you and it was so gray and ashy on me as well. I ordered the next deeper shade and it was gray and ashy as well. I end up throwing it in my makeup pile of stuff I don’t like. Thanks for sharing!
Oh wow, yes, they haven't figured out the undertone yet for deeper skin, because both undertones bring Grey is weird, I can understand maybe too much red like most companies think we're all red but Grey is weird, but I was curious, it's ok, didn't see anything amazing at all 😭, thanks for watching.

I’ll look like a ghost with extra ashiness and my kids will come over and look at me and laugh hysterically 🤣😂😂🤣 I don’t know why they get a kick out of messing with their mom 🤷🏾♀️ but the video is very entertaining at least you tried! But you seem to have made it work better for you, You tweaked i and and kept working with it until you made it work you in all your other products but you’re doing your bronzing and highlighting. It came together that little bit tad Ashy, but after you applied everything else over it, you hit the ashiness and you made it worked once again , But I don’t think you wanna buy it again and start buying products like we used to but in the day and settle for it and work hard to make it work. Them days are gone for us. Thank God we have options , I remember products like that and we make them work, We want products that we don’t have to work so hard to make it look as beautiful. We wanted to start off looking 👀 nice from the start where we have no intentions of going backwards it brings up too many memories of trying to make those bloody products work because we had to justify just to make ourselves feel good about the product because we work so hard at it to get it looking nice them days are over for us . But like I said, you put some work in it and got it where you want it, and as long as you like the product that’s basically all what matters. 🥰👩🏾🦲😘
Thank you so much, yes undertone was just too ashy, I actually gave it to my sister and it was a perfect match for her and looked amazing on her. Yes we've come a long way, but there's still work to do, I still feel like we're an after thought sometimes and that's unacceptable. At first I was like oh no it is to ashy and after you put the concealer things begin to change. It looks nice after your full face was done. Thanks for the review.
It looks really good on you. If you change your opinion and want to explore another shade they're still expanding the shade range. They have 10 more shades coming next month I believe. And then another 10 more later.
We're shade twins & I was literally laughing watching you apply it.😂You definitely need to use the sponge it comes with and pat it into your skin. It's coming off grayish because it's sitting on top of your skin. Robert Walsh has a great tutorial. Once you get the hang of it, it's a great product.
I feel maybe if I had the large size cause this sponge is so tiny I can't manipulate it around my face at all and when I watched Jaclyn she used a beauty sponge and girl I feel like don't even wanna try lol
I just received mine in the mail and stopped this video to go try it on lol 😆 And it goes on beautifully, but it is a bit too neutral so its not my shade. Also, it felt a bit tingly on my skin so i had to immediately take it off. Im a bit sad cause in a better shade it can compete. A little goes a long way and it covers.
Yes, they need to extend the range and add more golden or red undertones, glad I got the mini, tried it, didn't work and that's that 😭, hopefully we get more shade selections soon
@Nalinisworld yes..I got the same color you did and close up it looked perfect but far back it was a noticeable difference between my face and chest. It was a bit gray. Guess I'll go off to try two foundations I been looking at...the Prada and the YSL
It looks so beautiful on you but I can’t justify buying another foundation lol I just bought the Chanel sublimage le tient, and the very Valentino this week, on top of buying the Lou bouton the fenty and the Prada foundation last month. I need somebody to come take all my cards from me
I looked at reviews on RU-vid of women reviewing your shade. It didn't look ashy but they used the puff provided. I don't know if that would make a difference or not. I went with 40N and it was the exact color of my skin. It was shocking. It does have a very pretty texture.
The color is too warm on me but I'm going to try a mixing pigment. I love mixing yellow to take out the warmth or a blue to neutralize. I love it. I see people using it without primer because its skincare. @@Nalinisworld
Maam not you posting this after it was all cheap for Prime Day. I did end up getting yhenshade aftee this one Too dsrk and neutral. The formulation is lovely tho. If they do come out with moee shades ill try again esp since its suxh a cute packaging for touchups in this crazy heateave
It does but I think it depends on the application. I noticed when I applied it one way it definitely got a whole shade darker. However I tried applying it another way this week and I didn’t noticed much change.
